  1. Part of me is thinking Glenn is still alive as it was Nicholas, who landed on top of him, having his guts ripped out. But surely there is no way a horde that size would finish off Nicholas and then bugger off and leave Glenn. Unless something distracted them...
  2. Nope. That never happened

    Breaking Bad

Season two is the one that drags for me, with a lot happening but nothing overly excitable. Three and four are the best. Five starts brilliantly then falls away, before picking up again for the season finale.
  4. I also expect Eugene to get over his fear at some point and then killing everything that moves!!
  5. Was it not a woman she killed?
  6. Was I the only one that was thinking for most of the second half of the episode "where the f*ck are Rick and Daryl"? Every two minutes I was expecting them to rampage in and save the day, but it never happened.
  7. Fair enough. I just find the jumping back and forward a bit tedious. Hopefully tomorrow's episode will be better.

    Breaking Bad

Just finished watching this for the second time. Just superb. The end scene is maybe the best TV I have ever watched.
  9. Anyone else think the flash back episodes are boring as hell? Pretty sure they had one a few seasons ago when Hershel was in them (showing Rick how to plant fruit and veg, while at the prison). Adds nothing to the story IMO.
  10. Did you take one of my energy bars?
  11. Premiership Celtic Dundee Inverness Motherwell Killie Hamilton Partick Ross County St. Johnstone (haven't seen Morton at Aberdeen, Hearts or Dundee United) Championship Morton St. Mirren Hibernian QOTS Raith Falkirk Livingston Alloa Dumbarton (haven't seen Morton at Rangers, will tick that off in December) League One Dunfermline Ayr Forfar Stranraer Brechin Peterhead Albion Rovers Cowdenbeath Stenhousemuir Airdrie League Two Stirling Clyde Queen's Park Annan (haven't seen Morton at Elgin, Montrose, East Fife, Arbroath or Berwick. East Stirling don't get a mention as they ground share with Stenny) Non League Spartans Turriff English Wembley Stamford Bridge St James Park ETA Wembley was for a Metallica gig, not a match - does that count?
  12. Steaming Scotland fans who can't find their seat at a match. It's amazing how they organised the row/seat numbers at Hampden. The very first row is Row A, and works it's way back to Row Z. Then it goes from AA to ZZ. If that doesn't help enough, from left to right the seats are numbered 1 to however many seats there are in the section. But you still get some people staggering in 15 minutes after kick off, squeezing past you going one way, then coming past the other way five minutes later cos they can't count and have went in the wrong direction. Either that or they are wandering up and down the stairs trying to find their row. You wonder how these people got to the game in the first place, and how they get home at night.
  13. Some people will say it's not Trivium with no screaming vocals, but Matt's voice has got so much better over the years and I think now he sounds better when he isn't doing the screaming vocals. Can't wait for a tour, seen them live 13 times over the years!
  14. Thoughts on the new Trivium album? I think it is awesome, probably their best album so far.
  15. A song from each of the three albums (for some reason, the third link won't change to a video...)
  16. Ghost's new album is superb. 'He Is' and 'Absolution' are amazing. Hope they play those two at the gig in December.
  17. What I meant was, I don't think people realise (at this stage) that they are actually dead people who have re-animated, and they think they still alive and just very sick.
  18. ^^^ I guess nobody knows quite what they are, yet. Much better episode this week. Apparently there is two week wait for the next one though
  19. Boring first 55 minutes, excellent last 5. Will get better as the outbreak spreads.
  20. Listened to the new Ghost album for the first time today. On the first listen it isn't as good as the first two albums, but there are some cracking songs on there. Definitely a grower. Now for a Glasgow date!
  21. Was hoping for a nice quiet lunch in work, but a colleague from upstairs has decided to bring in their two year old who is running around the canteen.
  22. Not sure how reliable this is, but someone over at the Download forums have said Ghost are playing Glasgow on 16th December - at the SECC?! Unsure if this will be the Hydro (doubt it) or one of the smaller halls in the Exhibition Centre. Also mentions 'The Lighthouse', which I have never heard of, the following night... Will get a ticket for a gig anyway, Ghost are amazing!

    Sons of Anarchy

OK now that I have given myself some time to recover from watching the series finale 48 hours ago, I will post some thoughts on the show... Having completed Breaking Bad, Dexter, Prison Break and being up to date with The Walking Dead, I honestly think that Sons Of Anarchy is the best out of the lot of them. I dunno why, but I think that it has something that the other shows don't have. I think in this show, you feel connected to so many characters, whereas the others you only connect with one or two. It did take me a while to get into it, and after the first few episodes I was thinking to myself "what the hell is this crap and why am I watching it?", but I am glad I saw it out. Although I did lose my way a bit half way through it, I thought there was just too much going on at once to get my head around and actually stopped watching it for a few weeks!! The best season I think was season three, the ending to that was just superb, and well played out. The very last scene of the series I was expecting something completely different to happen at the end, but it was still gutting to see that happen. Never thought I would be so disappointed to get to the end of the TV show before. Anyway, I'm off to cry myself to sleep again...
