Good to see Falkirk supplying the lols for a second consecutive season.

Lawless has really impressed me so far. He's not the quickest but has great balance and doesn't lose the ball easily. He's much more effective on the left hand side, however. For me, Kaja has looked ropey in the past two games. I'd be playing Cadden ahead of him based on their performances yesterday.

I'm also a bit sad not to see Lithgow get more of a shout in these first few games. He stepped his game up so much last season. He was absolutely solid and a huge threat from set pieces. He needs to be given a chance to re-establish himself.

Don't rate him I'm afraid. He managed to score a few for us last season but most of the times I saw him he was slow and ponderous. He doesnt contribute much to the team but clearly has an eye for goal. Still plenty of time to develop but unless he comes on leaps and bounds over the summer I'd rate him as League One standard. Can't believe we managed to get a fee for him.

Haven't seen him play in a few years. He was one of those players that always looked pretty ropey but scored a lot of goals. He's big and looks like a target man but that isn't how he plays. I hope he does well for you as he always gave his best at Livi.

The ongoing seethe is definitely softening the blow of Hopkin leaving us. More please.

In case you don't get that one, I'm implying that you're also, to some extent, "punching above your weight" by being in the SPL.

You have misunderstood. He was implying that if Hopkin moves it'll be to a club who are bigger than Morton. There was no intended comparison between them and us. We are punching above our weight but reckon we'll see a decent increase in attendances next season. Looking forward to fighting it out with you in the lower half of the table!

Hopkin is now odds on favourite to become Morton manager. Seriously hope this doesn't happen.

Would easily keep Thompson. Very young and fits the system well.

Hardworking, excellent delivery from open play and set pieces. Not the most skillful but he will run all day. Had a spell where he drifted out of the team but he's back and playing well just now. Overall, decent championship player who has made a big contribution to our season. Not sure he would cut it in the spl but if we don't make it up I would 100% keep him.

I went right off Talbot after he needlessly booted Paul McGinn in the chest and got himself sent off against Dumbarton. We’d been winning 1-0, but he ended up costing us the game with his stupidity. He was a decent enough player, but I find it hard to take his “game has went soft” chat seriously. It’s not that I don’t agree with the sentiment, but here it comes across as a justification for the nastier, thuggish elements of his own playing style rather than a genuine critique of the modern game.

Definitely Halkett and Pittman. I think they're the spine of the team. Mullin and Byrne are also worth keeping. There really isn't much dead wood in the squad. Hopkin has managed to assemble a really hard working group of players. Also, no idea what has happened to Lithgow over the summer but he seems twice the player he was last season.

Just noticed how many of those goals have come from set pieces. Excellent stuff.
