In fairness, I think you're right. It's more dubious than I originally thought. You would have been likely to take all 3 points regardless so I guess it's relatively unimportant. Good luck for the rest of the season, unless we happen to be rematched after the split!

Are we looking at the same picture? He's clearly offside.

Not overly worrying. Midweek fixtures in Dingwall must be tough to prepare for and doesn't sound as though we were dominated. Run had to come to an end and I think it's a fair one after the two skelpings we dished out to County earlier on in the season. Hoping we raise our game for our next trip up to the Highlands this weekend.

Well goalie is the only reason we aren't winning this.

He's a headless chicken and a bit of a shitebag from what I've seen. Very quick and unpredictable but little end product at our level. Still, he's young and has time to develop. -
Thank you for the three points Hamilton. That squares us up for the games we've played so far. If we finish bottom six then happy to go halfers at the TMA. Good luck with the rest of the season and we'll do what we can to help. Stay strong Diddy Bros.

Shame devlin still out too. Anyone heard anything about his recovery?

He did very well in that position against Hibs at Easter road. You're right, he doesn't have a lot of pace but our game plan doesn't seem to rely on pace in the midfield. Lawless isn't the fastest but is excelling as an AM in our side this season. -

Good news. Sibbs has been brilliant lately. Still think he's better as an attacking mid but certainly comfortable in the sitting role as well. -
I was hoping to see some tears on here. Unfortunately, most of the Raith support have been pretty measured in their comments. True, we've had some lovely displays of ignorance regarding the whole racist chant thing. That was entertaining...but there's nothing like a bit of bitterness from the opposition to sweeten a victory, whether it's against Celtic or Raith Rovers. So, thank you for delivering. And don't be sad. Your team tried really hard.

Sibbald has done very well recently. I doubt we'd be looking to offload him, though we are pretty stacked with midfield options. Devlin was great prior to his injury. His pace is a huge asset. However, he will not find it easy to get back into the team as Steve Lawson has been in superb form as our RB. Crawford has a great engine and is good with the ball at his feet. Has not looked out of place at this level. -
Livi v Ross County
hoobahabba replied to LIVIFOREVER's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
We absolutely beasted County today without really having to play to our full potential. I imagine the old norovirus will have had a part to play in that but it's still satisfying and certainly allays relegation anxiety. Thought Dykes, Lawson, Lawless and Bartley were standouts. We'll be lucky to keep hold of Dykes post-January. He is attracting a lot of attention and rightly so. Well done to the club for getting him signed up on a longer contract at the beginning of the season. At least this time we'll benefit financially from his inevitable departure. -
St Mirren vs Livingston, 14/12/19 15:00

What I'm trying to say is that all the occasions on which we've thrown away a lead have been away from home. I'm not claiming that we have a poor away record in relation to other teams. Just the way that the games have panned out on the road leads you to think about how much further up we'd be in the league if we'd managed to hold on in certain matches. Mainly St Johnstone, Hibs, Hearts and St Mirren. We picked up four draws in these games and, on the face of it, you'd say that's not bad going for a club like Livingston. However, the overriding feeling coming away from each has been frustration and the sense of two points lost, rather than a point gained. -

No, I agree. We are where we deserve to be in the league and clearly there is a problem with our ability to defend a lead away from home. It's not just a case of bad luck on multiple occasions. However, you can't help but think about "what could have been" when you look at our away form. -
St Mirren vs Livingston, 14/12/19 15:00

This has got to be one of the most frustrating seasons I've ever witnessed. I would have definitely taken a point at the beginning of the game and, to be honest, we didn't play particularly well so it's not a bad outcome in that sense. But, f**k me, we need to learn how to defend a lead. Yes, the conditions made it difficult for both sets of defences today but it's happened too many times this season for that to be the excuse. I love Gary Holt, I love the team, I'm fairly confident that we won't go down this season...but I just can't stop thinking about the points we've dropped. It's so frustrating! Still, that's four games unbeaten and hopefully we take all three points against County next weekend. I don't think anyone played particularly well for us today, bar Souda. Don't understand why Alan Lithgow came on at half time and wasn't impressed with his contribution. St Mirren have looked decent in both games we've played them this season, despite only taking a point from us. I would back them to stay up. -
Your Clubs Best Players
hoobahabba replied to staggy1929's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Dykes - An absolute pain in the arse to play against. Excellent link up play, aggressive, fast, strong, good in the air. Suits our style of play to a tee. Pittman - A club legend. Not quite been at his best post-injury but usually an absolute workhorse and a real threat in front of goal. Bartley - Such a composed player. Strong, calm with the ball at his feet and a brilliant leader. A stalwart so far this season. -
Midlothian Hearts versus West Lothian Thistle
hoobahabba replied to Aim Here's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Not nearly as gutting as the capitulation against Hibs but still hard to take. Especially after the number of games we've chucked late on. Still, great to see Lawson looking like the player he was at the tail end of last season. Should definitely start at right back for the next game. -

f**k yeah man. Plastico fantastico. Livingston FC no. 1 and the FC stands for "fake club" just like you said. Get us doon! -
Really close game today. We were unlucky not to come away with a point. Result flattered Celtic hugely.
