  1. The sole policeman told the Alloa fannies that they'll "just all shite yourselves and run away when they (Accies fans) get off the bus." Thought that was actually quite funny. It was the most predictable half-time sub of all time.
  2. Based on speaking to players after the cup final and being on their flight home from Coleraine, I definitely get the impression that Rankin keeps a happy dressing room. He seems to value the team-building and morale boost of them, for example, going on a bender after the cup final, even if it results in us getting pumped 7-0 the next week. That's not enough to avoid relegation or win a title, but I do think he's shown enough so far this season to suggest that he can get us promoted. The one in the first half was the exact same routine we scored from against Annan, so it seems that we only pose a threat when going short. I find it hard to believe that our routines have suddenly gone to shit after scoring from so many set-pieces last season, so it's got to be a combination of having shite takers and missing O'Reilly.
  3. You probably watched it a month too late and I watched it a month too early. It's very much a Halloween film.
  4. Then how in God's name can you say we're overachievers? We've got the second highest points per game which is clearly at least our level.
  5. How many times have you actually seen us to come to that conclusion?
  6. Could say the same about Barjonas and Longridge, and the less said about O'Brien's 45 minutes the better.
  7. Nope, moved Hewitt into a RB/RCB hybrid role which gave him and Longridge space to step into and pin Alloa in. Also had diagonal runs from the likes of MacDonald and O'Hara which were found by Martin and Tait.
  8. Terrible first 75 but I thought Rankin's tactical switch could've won the game for us. Never looked like winning it prior to that though.
  9. I dunno about you guys, but I've never seen a good game on one of they plastic pitches
  10. We parked at Lidl for the play-off game which was fine other than a wee wait to get out. I think I heard about others who parked there that same night getting a ticket though, so not sure if I should go somewhere else.
  11. Yip I've been charged ~£4 by Nationwide. Seems a bit ridiculous tbh.
  12. He played his first game in a while during the week as Liverpool's u21s lost 4-0 to Bradford in the EFL Trophy. He came off injured with cramp, but hopefully he gets another go in the Europa League as I'm not sure how many other opportunities he'll get after that.
  13. Not involved all that much. From memory, he had one 1v1 to defend against Gordon which he did OK with but did fall on his arse at the end of it, and tbh I don't remember much else from his performance. This is great to hear. He's finally playing every week for a good side whose fans don't despise him, so it's no wonder that De Zerbi's seeing a difference in him. I'm sure he'll have plenty more bumps in the road this season - as seems to be typical of his career so far - but it's quite a difference compared to where he was a year ago, or even back in March/April.
  14. Nice assist for Patterson last night, playing a really similar pass to the one that almost played in Shankland towards the end of the Norway game. He came on for Coleman who took a knock in the second half, but Garner's illness that Everton moved things about a bit with Young moving to a more advanced position on the right, so Patterson's game time could end up getting reduced if Coleman and Young are the two first-choice RBs.
  15. Aberdeen's squad will look a hell of a lot better if they get a proper manager in imo. While the Premiership is riddled with one-season wonders (which Duk, Clarkson and Barron all could be*), if the right manager comes in then you'd have to imagine that front five will keep them out of danger. Massive caveat is that Aberdeen haven't proven themselves to be good at appointing the right manager of late.
  16. Seems to be quite a mix of experiences. As long as you had 12+ points and logged in at 12pm it really was a lottery as to how you'd get on.
  17. Yip mine got rejected first of all, then I couldn't do another order because it said my code was already in use. By the time I got back in, the Fans First were sold out for Hungary and Switzerland but got one for Germany (the important one). Not that fussed for the sake of 60EUR but my dad managed to get Fans First for all three so might be asking to swap phones for the other two games...
  18. There's definitely an element of the Online Fans going in harder on an unfashionable player, but he is lacking as a player at the elite level despite having a lot of great attributes. Ten Hag clearly thinks that his strengths are outweighing his weaknesses, though, and I'm delighted that he's proving people wrong.
  19. Missed a McSauce masterclass for an Emery masterclass. I absolutely love watching this Villa team, especially at Villa Park. Some terrifically fun and different players, great shape on and off the ball from Emery, and they're led by Super John McGinn. The best team in the Premier League to watch so far this season.
  20. Which first half to opt for: Christie in the deeper role or Gilmour for Brighton?
  21. I'm loathed to talk about loyalty when plenty of folk just use Scotland trips as an excuse to "git away fae the missus."
  22. 24 hour delay would suit me best
  23. Yeah it's really just the categories I'm worried about. It's better than Euro 2020 when we were stressing over actually getting tickets, at least.
  24. So if I'm buying for him or he's buying for me then we'll need to make three purchases on one account, then log out, log into the other account and buy three more tickets?
  25. Can you only buy tickets separately for two different adults? I seem to remember my dad being able to buy for both mine and his SSC account at the last Euros but could be wrong.
