We didn't create that many chances, but despite being a man down I felt that overall it was a pretty even game. Don't think there's a whole lot between the sides and I'd expect the rest of the games to be fairly close this season too.

Having now watched it back, that red card was utterly ridiculous. I thought so at the time too but you never know until you've had a closer look at it. Really hope the players are able to recognise that yesterday was an excellent battling performance despite the referee and a couple of mental managerial decisions, and build on that; we really should've at least come away with a point.

That defeat is 100% on Robin Veldman. At 2-1 up we looked more likely to score again than condece, and he's bringing on a 17 year old left back who struggled last week to hold a lead even though Tommy Robson had been great. Don't think there was much between the teams so that's very frustrating.

That would be a very funny outcome, but I bet teams pushing for the playoffs will be all over guys like Giolito. Regardless, they're absolutely screwed now. They spent a fortune, didn't trade Ohtani who's going to be a free agent after this season, and their farm system is horrible.

Week 4 - Falkirk

It's possible, but I think we've seen enough already this season to feel relatively optimistic. Even yesterday we played some decent football, but my expectation is that we'll be a bit hot and cold. Having a proper goalscorer is quite often the difference maker at this level though and we've got one of them in Ruari Paton.

Week 3 - Hamilton

I think the manager being new to the country, a reasonable amount of player turnover, and having the youngest team in the division (probably by a decent margin) left quite a few people feeling uncertain but it seems to be coming together quite nicely so far.

Gunnar Henderson is an absolute monster, can't believe he only just turned 22. It is frankly absurd that Baltimore drafted him and Adley Rutschman in the same year.

I think a lot of our fans did/do have relatively low expectations for this season to be fair, but Inverness away was the one I personally didn't necessarily expect us to win.

How did Williamson play yesterday? Was glad to see he got a goal.

Lesser absolutely is better than that stand. The view there is night and day compared to where they put us yesterday.

They weren't lying but the only made those tickets available on the morning of the game, which was probably too late for some people to make plans.

The frustration stems from the fact that we've never, ever in all our visits to Gayfield been confined to that stand, even back when the combined home and away attendance would've been about 500. Absolutely accept that Arbroath are well within their rights to do so but the view in there is surprisingly poor. Will be incredibly disappointed if it's the same arrangement for our next visit, 200ish isn't a terrible travelling support.

Three weeks into the season and this has already aged like milk.

Didn't think we were great today but 3 points are 3 points. Arbroath are a really poor team with a horrible wee b*****d of a manager. Will be surprised if they reach 25 points all season.

QP Direct have replied to the podcast's tweet about this apologising, admitting it was them who made an arse of it and not the club.

They were alright, we dropped a few first team players for it if I remember correctly. They're part time so started to tire a bit but I'd have compared them to a lower end Championship side.
