I think the manager being new to the country, a reasonable amount of player turnover, and having the youngest team in the division (probably by a decent margin) left quite a few people feeling uncertain but it seems to be coming together quite nicely so far.

Gunnar Henderson is an absolute monster, can't believe he only just turned 22. It is frankly absurd that Baltimore drafted him and Adley Rutschman in the same year.

I think a lot of our fans did/do have relatively low expectations for this season to be fair, but Inverness away was the one I personally didn't necessarily expect us to win.

How did Williamson play yesterday? Was glad to see he got a goal.

Lesser absolutely is better than that stand. The view there is night and day compared to where they put us yesterday.

They weren't lying but the only made those tickets available on the morning of the game, which was probably too late for some people to make plans.

The frustration stems from the fact that we've never, ever in all our visits to Gayfield been confined to that stand, even back when the combined home and away attendance would've been about 500. Absolutely accept that Arbroath are well within their rights to do so but the view in there is surprisingly poor. Will be incredibly disappointed if it's the same arrangement for our next visit, 200ish isn't a terrible travelling support.

They were alright, we dropped a few first team players for it if I remember correctly. They're part time so started to tire a bit but I'd have compared them to a lower end Championship side.

Yep, but at the same time if we have that much faith in him then his value will only go up and up so if I were making the decisions I'd tell the lot of them to GTF.

When we spoke to Charlie Fox on the podcast he mentioned that the younger players were a year ahead of the first team in terms of implementing the intended style, and it's absolutely evident when you watch McKenna compared to Ferrie (who I've always been a massive fan of). The cynic in me also wonders whether there's any chance he's getting a bit of first team game time right now to increase his value though! Playing Championship football no doubt massively increases his price tag compared with anything he had been doing before. I suppose both of these things could be true at the same time.

To be clear, are you saying the other day's game wasn't one sided, or just making a statement that isn't relevant to the post you quoted?

Would the wind necessarily be an advantage for Arbroath, given we tend to play relatively short, quick passes along the deck? The ball is very rarely in the air, and I'm sure we could adjust and limit that even further if necessary. Our corners are already terrible so that's not much of a concern...

Looks ever so slightly lightweight when taking a man on IMO but incredibly tricky on the ball, he's going to give plenty of defenders a torrid time this season. Scored against Arbroath on Saturday.

Strangely, the article was updated shortly after being published to say that, beforehand it just said sections A and B. Still, those plus C must be 300+ seats so that seems unlikely sadly.
