Pleasantly surprised to receive this email today... Still got their chance to be arsey about it, but hope to see the refunded dosh in the next few days

Cheers folks. Not really the biggest issue if I keep it, just not really £50 I wanted to spend at this time. Especially when you can usually get it for £40 or so from CD keys and the likes! fully expect a “tough shit, we’ll keep your money and still cancel PS Plus for you” so I’d need to buy it again at a later date anyway. I’ll give it the 2 weeks or so and see what happens.

Can anyone advise how long a refund from PSN normally takes? PS Plus auto renewed for me on 02.01 as I’d forgotten to turn this off, but I’m not needing it just now and requested the refund. Received the below email. I’ve not used anything but wary of them not replying within the 2 weeks and refusing the refund, anyone any experience of this?

Finished this tonight. Agree with the frustration in the glitches but other than that thought it was a great game. Good story and enjoyable gameplay, haven’t played many of the games where the combat was so gruelling (dark souls the one I kept reading was it similar to) but makes it all the more enjoyable when you complete it. Played the whole thing in Jedi master difficulty but after about 100 attempts (no exaggeration) I succumbed to putting the level down for the last part of the game, I would’ve patched it entirely otherwise. Would definitely recommend if you can find this for £30 or so now!

Very much as above. I’m gutted that it took me so long to discover FR, would’ve really loved to witness them live. Some of the live videos properly gives me goosebumps, and I listen probably on a daily basis now. Phenomenal talent and hope he found peace.

I know F1 2020 is out now, but I’m not into F1 enough so spunk £50+ on a game. Downloaded the demo and tempted to buy this at about £8 off PS store. Is it worth it? I had a quick shot of it and it seems solid, I dunno if I’m just well out of practice (not owned an F1 game since the PS2 days) or I farted about with settings that made it stupidly difficult. I was in a Mercedes and couldn’t get out of last place so I think that’ll tell you how incompetent I am at it. Should i accept the driving line/breaking assistances etc until I’m more used to it?

What’s the gist with Pro Evo’s online nowadays? I’ve flitted between the 2 games in the last few years, I ended up with Fifa again this year due to it being about £20 in a sale and the fact my pals all play clubs. Also a sucker for manager mode despite the lack of real improvement in it in the last few years. Definitely prefer Pro Evo more for gameplay though, far superior. Just annoyed me with online lagging more than I find on Fifa. Tried to convince my pals to convert but they’re idiots.

Partner bought me this back in September and took me a while to pick it up due to RDR2 etc. Pretty much in agreement with the general gist of what’s been said already. There’s so much potential in the game but yet it quickly got samey and repetitive. Getting caught out by hordes made for some exciting moments, but overall it was pretty bland. Lost interest in the story as well. For how hyped I was for the game it disappointed, but it’s not the worst game I’ve played. Fell into the horizon zero dawn category of overall meh for me.

Headhunter for the ps2 was one that I wish I had completed. I remember for years I couldn’t complete a certain level, and would chuck it. Went back to it a while afterwards and progressed well through it. Only for it then to freeze at the same point and it got forgotten about. More recently, couldn’t be arsed with Horizon Zero Dawn. Got quite a bit through it too and then it froze after me not saving for a while, never bothered to go back to it because I got RDR2.

David Wilson has been the one to really impress me in his last two 45s. Got us driving forward better in the 2nd half today. We need a striker.

First pre season game I've got to. Impressed with lawless and Hendry in particular. Wilson looked good when he came on too. Hendry was commanding, comfortable on the ball and looks like he possesses a fair amount of pace too which was pleasantly surprising. Hoping to make Saturday if possible, encouraging performance I felt, by pre season standards.

I hope he'll be milking the adulation of the fans soon.

I think the badge on the red will be the shorts! Yellow and red hoops so no squinty badge/joma. Black skirting at the side I believe.

From a club point of view having those 3 midweek away games will probably suit. From a fan point of view it's jobbies.
