Beaten by an extremely strong livi team tonight, and the first half clearly shown that because quite frankly we're getting the runaround. 2nd half we improved and competed better but most importantly it's giving players the minutes and match sharpness for the season. From what I seen, Ewan Macpherson has bulked up considerably and competed well and Mclauchlan won all his headers. Magee didn't look particularly comfortable at right back but hopefully he'll continue to improve. Also 95% sure that former player Gavin Lachlan was playing aswell.

Thanks for that, don't think we'll ever sign players of the calibire of Anderson and Longworth again from the juniors. Hopefully they're better than the last addition we got from youse in David Green.

It's no wonder young players are quick to move on and leave Queens.
Mortimer has scored 0 goals in the 3 years he's been in the first team. Yes, he had a decent spell during the season but ultimately his job is to hit the ball in the net which he has failed to do. Hopefully he develops a scoring touch next season if given the opportunity.

How has Billy Mortimer been retained? Guys been with us for years now and he's still never scored a goal. I don't buy into the "he runs about" rubbish. Thomas Orr at least showed some promise during his limited appearances.

Couple of new goalkeepers. Not everyone at present season has signed I believe some are training with the view of signing.
Our defence is what let us down last year and they have all stayed bar Burns. Will be good enough for League 2 if Gus can get a good balance and a reliable goalkeeper.

Good news if true. The drama queens will be up in arms and jumping to conclusions about this being a direct exchange for Callachan but that isn't the case.
The board turned down an initial offer of cash + player so I suspect the approved deal is a more cash.
If we can get in Zanatta, Fraser Murray and now potentially Herron out of selling Callachan, I'll be happy.
Aye he played wide left on quite a few occasions last season. Terrific player with a load of potential. Has the ability to play in the top flight, and physically he's no slouch. Can glide by players with ease and can certainly strike a ball. Gutted he didn't come back on loan to us and will be interesting to see if he plays ahead of Vaughan, Spence and Buchanan. Wish him all the best

Shocked Millers been loaned out. Started every game this season other than last week. Only reason I can think of him being loaned is because he's had another fallout with Gus. Big loss for us in my opinion.
