  1. Doesn’t matter what the level opposition is. Our defending at set pieces was comical and embarrassing. Obviously expected to lose but we didn’t lay a glove on Kilmarnock plus we looked scared anytime we had possession of the ball. Disappointing

  2. Thought Finnie and Galt were outstanding. Great to see that Finnie is versatile and can play in a number of positions and today was his best game for the club so far. Unbelievable ball from Galt for the 2nd goal and once again Salim finishes it off. It really is great having a goalscorer in the team for once.  2 points off 4th place now and we begin to look up the table, whilst confidence levels will be high for the Kilmarnock game. Here’s hoping.

  3. Absolutely need to win this game. Stenny looked utter dross on the two occasions they’ve played us, so I’m somewhat confident of a result but with Qp this season anything can happen. Need other players to step up, instead of leaving it all for Salim to score something out of nothing.
Fail to win and Roberts needs to go

I get your point, but the promises made to people who were hesitant about semi pro was that we wouldn’t just sign a bunch of old players to survive. You can still get physical young players, they don’t suddenly become physical when they hit 33.

Who cares what age they are, if young players are good enough they’ll play. Our inconsistencies the past 2 seasons have been the complete lack of experience in important areas of the pitch. To have any opportunity of getting a player of the calibre of Trouten, we should be grabbing with both hands.

  5. First half was a shocker, looked like the players had no clue what they were doing on and off the ball. The thing that’s frustrating is how easy we made for Cove. Cove had hit their first sticky patch of the season and we’ve reverted to hoofing the ball to Salim whilst giving them all the time in the world to do what they want. Reinforcements are definitely needed in January. Not convinced by Block at all and we desperately need some creativity in the midfield to make runs in behind from Salim’s headers. Thank god we’ve got Salim or we’d be down nearer 9th or 10th. Get him signed up as soon as possible

  6. What a difference in the team the past month, playing again to the levels from july/August. We’ve now got a settled first eleven and even when guys like Galt are out, Purdue stepped up to the mark and took his chance brilliantly. Hopefully that kickstarts Purdue’s season as its quite clear he’s got ability in abundance

Salim was outstanding yesterday and the finish for his 2nd goal shows how  confidence the guy is the now. Really think he could quite comfortably hit 20 goals if he doesn’t pick up any injuries, he always seems to get chances when he plays. Very rare for a QP striker

Joffrey Lidouren with six assists in thirteen games, Salim Koudier-Aissa with double figures, Galt doing Galt things. Now that we can, we're surely already talking to these guys about next season? Not the only ones either btw.

Hopefully we’re speaking to Jamieson already. Class act at the back

  8. Superb performance and like others have said, I was extremely surprised by the Qots performance during 2nd half. Genuinely looked like they couldn’t care less and just reverted to hoofing the ball instead of pursuing with the nice bits of play they had early on in the game

From a QP perspective, we thoroughly deserve to be in the next round. Top marks for every player and finally it seems like we’ve found someone who is able to hit the back of the net regularly in Salim but special mention has to go to Willie Muir. He’s not had the easiest season and admittedly I wanted him dropped a month ago but today typified what a top keeper he is with some crucial saves

  9. GK- Lucas Birstingl

    DF- Ross Fisher

    DF- Ricki Lamie

    DF- Kevin Green

    DF-  Martin Mccomish

    MF- David Gold

    MF- Michael Keenan

    MF- Dominic Docherty

    ATT- Ryan Hynes

    ATT- Josh Peters

    ATT- Joao Victoria

Might of missed some obvious choices but unsurprisingly a lot players were part of the worst QP team I’ve ever seen back in 13/14.

  10. Regarding the match, I thought we were outstanding for 70 minutes albeit Brechin were absolutely shocking. Their performance was very reminiscent of Berwick last season and I do fear for them.
We reverted back to the system that was working great in the betfred cup and the opening league games and one of the big factors is having Clark back at centre of defence. He’s a lot more comfortable in the centre of defence rather than left back and there is no surprise that the whole team look a lot more solid. Delighted for Salim, he’s really starting to show his goal scoring abilities now, 8 goals currently and I have no doubt there will be a lot more to come by the end of the season.

  11. Superb performance from the entire team, not one player played below par. I’ve always wanted to see Luke Main play more often because in his sporadic appearances I’ve been extremely impressed and today he was outstanding. Agressive and positive on the ball, made such a difference.
I would give man of the match to Lidouren though. He absolutely ran the show and was a joy to watch, particularly the first half. He’s got everything you want in a midfielder

6 hrs ago u said different      he is good for his age   but you are getting carried away with yourself

When you’ve got a player in your squad who is potentially going to the English premier league, think you’ve got every right to think he might have a greater impact than your average league 2 player

I do realise however that we cannot solely rely on a 16 year old to single handedly win matches. The rest of the team need to step up big time

Back to the football, our current points average would see us finish on around 32 points. Since the playoffs came in, that'd have seen us finish 10th, 10th, 9th and 9th. Saturday is do or die for me or we have to change it.

Hopefully we can give as many to games to Reagan before he’s away in December, could be the difference from being at the bottom to mid to upper table. Sounds like he might be heading to Newcastle going by the rumours.

I think we are missing Magee hugely. He was really coming on to a game. Gibson is past his best but hopefully Foy can come in. I commented some time back regarding the Crawford signing and was shot down in flames. Why do we have him? We need to consider a goalkeeping change. Willie Muir has lost the place at the moment.

Completely agree. The defensive solidity we had early on in the season has completely disappeared since Magee’s injury and I feel like the combination of Gibson’s injuries over the years are starting to affect his performances, which is a shame as he used to be an extremely reliable performer

Would unfortunately need to agree with you on Muir. Fantastic keeper for us but the individual mistakes he’s made in recent weeks means that a couple of weeks on the bench may be necessary. Would like to see Hegharty in goals, looks a very promising goalkeeper
