They haven't a clue - "The introduction of the pyramid system in 2014-15 presented a gateway to the senior leagues"
F*** me, how do you complain about this shite?
The utter disregard shown for lower leagues by the Scottish media is a disgrace. On one of the match reports from yesterday it had Afolabi adding a "firth" goal, pash journalism.
And listening to the pundits on the way home talking about Dunfermline having nothing to fear from us or anyone else is just embarrassing.
I hope QP do Dunfermline!

Hasn't it been the case in the past that the POTY ends up leaving...
In that case I'm voting for kerr Mcinroy for player of the year!

On the Petersburn end, the money man, Robert, will be happy you called him a boy. Speaking as an elderly gent myself of course.
Haha aye he's a good lad.

I am sure the S FA price the playoffs and the money is split like a Scottish Cup tie after expenses etc..
Well that's a shame

As it stands we play Montrose in first game in play off, is that right
Aye
Hope the club do something similar to the cove game and reduce prices. Try and fill our home games in the play offs.

Anyone having issues buying tickets for tomorrow's game ?
Site keeps refreshing when it gets to the entering payment bit.

Mitch hobbled off after 15 minutes yesterday and if he misses out completely on Saturday the chances of us dropping points or losing must rise.
Although we've weathered our tough run of fixtures, so far, we're not exactly turning in great performances and can count ourselves fortunate in the last two. I think we've conceded in 9 out of our last 11 games, and in each of our last 7, since losing at Easter Road.
We need to find a winning performance this weekend coming although matching Air-dries result will leave us in a strong position in the final 3 games.
Montrose away will be a very stern test especially after their dominate display against the Bairns.
My nerves probably can't handle late drama 3 weekends on the spin. Saturday will be tense again
You should get points deducted if you can't put 3/4 past them...Falkirk are by far the worst team I've seen this season.

Think Murray said that McCabe had a sickness bug and will be back in training this week which is massive. And fingers crossed for Watson too. More chance of myself winning the euro millions than Falkirk taking anything off cove. (Trying to jinx this post so it pays off )
I think we all know what needs to be done here...
Lump money on cove at the bookies! Would be the ultimate jinx.

Club statement about lifetimes bans for "three individuals" after the Cove game. This is a couple of days after the club released a photo of "three individuals" they wanted to speak to. 1+1 adding to 2 in this situation. Reckon these laddies could be in a fair bit of bother in the wider context too. Watching green Street and thinking it's a documentary clearly doesn't pay kids...
Good , get this sort of stuff tae f**k away from our club.

On Wikipedia it mentions he’s with Falkirk at the moment
Back in August 2020. If you go down to the post career bit.

Is Gow not currently at Falkirk ?
We were talking to him at hospitality back in November or so and he was working for Crystal Palace. He had been part of a consortium to take over at Falkirk but it fell through.
Might have changed since then right enough but he seemed to have a sweet deal with Palace.

Wouldnt imagine Gow giving up his job at Crystal Palace , unless he's been let go.

Don't know if I've missed it but that's the first time I've seen a statement saying that it was passed to police Scotland.
Thats good to hear at least , as it wasn't just an internal investigation.

Would the compensation from the director not be because of the way it was all handled ?
Putting aside the allegation Rico has. The way the club dealt with it was bizarre at best.
For the first time in years we've a team on the park to be proud of. We should be building on that , not being dragged back to the 80s with Nazi salutes, racial abuse and some utter low life's jumping cove fans.

Not a good week for Airdrie with Rico now taking the club to a tribunal
Instead of celebrating a great crowd and great effort from the board on Saturday we are chasing the names of knuckle draggers and facing a tribunal.
Actions of a few ruin it for the rest of us !

I've set up a crowd funder for the Cove Fan given a bleaching when leaving the stadium. Been told it was sickening by a fairly robust supporter who saw it and was worried it might even have been a fatality.
Michael who was attacked has been told he might be entitled to compensation (presumably Criminal Injuries money) but his fiancee has just finished lymphoma cancer treatment and so I suggested any excess and any money he gets back goes to charities. He said a few have helped them.
£130 for him and his mate to get home from Wishaw General. No idea what the dental work bill might be for the broken teeth.
Yesterday was a great day in a lot of ways for the club we all love (even despite the result). Really disappointing that a tiny minority want to try and recreate The Football Factory. Can't undo that but can make clear that they don't speak for the majority of us.
Good gesture , appalling what happened, hope the knuckle draggers that did it get locked away.
Absolutely sickening.

What happened for smiths second goal ? From where I was standing it looked like the keep just let it trickle past him.

Agree with everything about Smith.
I think his workrate and enthusiasm is worth so much to that team, he might not score a barrowload but he's certainly involved somewhere in there.
Hes got pace and strength , the only thing he's missing is that wee trick to beat the final man. That said he showed at cove that he's is developing that aspect of his game , that wee fake shot took out two cove defenders.
Hes still young and growing as a player.
I'd have him playing off Gabby or Afolabi on Saturday. But I reckon it will be Gal and Smith starting.

I'm not feeling too confident about this one...
We badly need to get that midfield purring again !

With Gabby McGill now fit (hopefully) I would think it's very unlikely that Allan will start any other game this season.
Fair point
Not sure what our best partnership is up front now.
Smith and Gabby ?
Be interesting to see the team sheet on Saturday, another massive game.

Mccabe for POTY for me , if you had said to me he would be playing CB for 90 percent of the season I would have laughed at you !
Scott Mcgill for young player purely because we asked a lot from him to play left back for 3 or 4 months. He's also bagged some cracking goals.
Watsons goal against montrose for Goal of the season cause its just absolutely filthy
