  1. Pretty sure we were told this sort of thing didn't happen. Those jolly Orangemen, eh? Eh? http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/northern-ireland/nazi-and-confederate-flags-at-belfast-bonfire-site-condemned-by-robinson-and-mcguinness-31360843.html http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/jul/08/nazi-and-confederate-flags-seen-near-loyalist-bonfire-in-northern-ireland

I excitedly explained this to the bird when that conversation took place. She wasn't as enthused as I thought the information warranted her being.
  3. Changing directors half-way through is rarely a good sign though...
  4. Good stuff, I'd be annoyed if it was a bust. I'm still a little gutted it wasn't Cornish / Wright though... hopefully the experience won't put them off doing something else together.

It's this guy out the Walking Dead apparently: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Bernthal
  6. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/scots-fliers-blast-shambolic-airport-5925178 Edinburgh Airport taking it tight again....
  7. Well fair enough, I can see I need to be more accommodating and reasoned on this. I do think there is an element of masochism in keeping on reading folk's drivel, but it's probably no worse than stuff on here etc..
  8. That's within your rights of course. Your stance would carry more weight if you expanded on the reasons you disagree.
  9. Nope, just anyone that has posted up a version (whether it be greater or lesser) of the shite people have posted here as examples. In basic psychological terms I see no substantive difference between someone daft bint posting "so upset just now" to whore for responses, and someone else posting up a "perfectly reasonable" photo of themselves or their wean as an update, safe in the knowledge that it will garner a half-dozen cloying responses. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with either, but doing one of them and looking down on the other is a bit rich.
  10. I don't think you should be saved from it. Have one, have ten. Just admit you're a hypocrite every time you think you're better than the goons posted as examples on here.
  11. Jesus. The above is grim. I couldn't be bothered trawling through the hundreds of pages here, so apologies if this has already been said a dozen times, but all of you are part of the problem. The site is a less shite friends reunited. It is specifically set up to encourage needs wankage. There may be extreme examples of this that everyone can point to as being the "worst", but everyone using it is merely a lesser version of these bellends. "oh but it's handy for keeping in touch and organising things" - Set up whatsapp groups with folk on your phone. You don't need every other c*nt to see what you're organising. Basically everyone one there will at some point have posted some shite that to some extent is designed to make them look good in some way. You don't need to. You just need to have some backbone.

If they do it anything like the Alias comic, Jessica Jones could well end up being the best of the lot, fear not! Also - The Punisher is confirmed for Daredevil season 2. Pleasing. More carnage.
  13. I use Edinburgh and Glasgow pretty regularly, and find it takes longer on average to get through at Edinburgh. At least they're both investing money I guess... some of the airports in this country are a joke. Leeds-Bradford springs to mind. Horrible place. I've stopped flying to London as well. West-Coast mainline all the way from now on. 15 minute train to Central, then four and a half hrs and I'm in Euston. Compare that with either the grim slog out to Edinburgh Airport (shite if you're coming from the West on the M8, shite if you've got to get along Corstorphine Road in f-ing Edinburgh traffic), or having to get out to Glasgow Airport on the Motorway. No security delays, no having to get into London from Stanstead, Heathrow or Luton, a comfy seat and decent wi-fi. Cheap 1st Class deals often to be had. Free beer and nice food.
  14. Who can say, if it's fucking, boring, for him? Who, can, say,?
  15. As usual with these things it's difficult to tell which allegations are correct or not, but one fundamental point remains; that if we were really seeing a "new dawn" for Rangers, then the club should be moving forward in the spirit of openness and truthfulness with its fans, e.g.: - How long will the current funds last? What is being done to address funding problems? - Are extensive repairs actually needed at Ibrox? If so, what are the projected costs, and are there safety concerns if these are not addressed? - Can they afford not to go up to the SPL this season? Of course, we all know the club won't be honest with the fans, but now that they have "proper Rangers men" at the helm, there is no reason whatsoever that the usual apologists on here and elsewhere can give to excuse continued lack of transparency. The fans are continuing to pay in. Taking their money without appraising them fully of the situation is only going to disenfranchise ra peepul all over again.
  16. Knowing that face would annoy me too, to be fair.
  17. Worth having a look at the new Star Wars comics for fans. They're back on Marvel now (I guess Disney flexing the muscles), and Keiron Gillen is doing the Darth Vader series. His stuff is always excellent. They're to be found legally and, cough, in the usual other places too. Clip:
