  1. Was there a call for volunteers, to lay/remove covers? Its's a labour and timing consuming task. I would therefore assume the covers are not down.
  2. Condrums and Rubic’s cube have nothing on you. My big decision is Bay or Carron for a fish supper.
  3. Stirling fans would realise I was hinting at shots on goal. Never a good sign, for me, when I start thinking of pen or og’s If Hamilton Have any goodness in their heart. Tomorrow would be a good time to show it.
  4. 2 shots on target for Stirling, first after 40 odd mins. Slack passing, error strewn. No positives. Alloa did enough and that’s what counts. Rice must go .
  5. My apologies. Seen gantry at match and Kelty TV on web site. Wrong assumed there would be highlights.
  6. We are all hurting, as we are passionate about SAFC. I guess dressing room would have been quiet. JC makes apology at training. We move on to Alloa game.
  7. I and others were disappointed when he left Forthbank. Master of the long searching pass. Stennie v Stirling New Year 2022 being a particular favourite.
  8. After 20 mins Pabs at front post. If his hair was longer it was in.
  9. Had 0-0 written all over it, until the last 1/4. Not a classic, but as a match I enjoyed it. NCP has an intimacy I enjoy. Currie was engaging with Kelty young team behind goal. He had one exceptional block, but rooted to the spot for the goal. VG strike. Yes goals would be nice. But we are not out of our depth in this league. PS re meeting your Heroes. Briefly spoke to Kai F. An unassuming young man.
  10. Can’t add much to the comments above. Corbett is surely tired of playing in teams turned over by Stirling, late on.
  11. Not the result I was hoping for but I’m OK with a point. Cove keeper decent. Are Cove relying on aged superstars? They played better with 10.
  12. So Cove fans don't see a 1-7. At start of season I had Cove as top 4 . Still think it will happen. Like others I passed on the last 2 Stirling matches. I therefore rely on fan comments, highlights and manager's interview. Rarely do I disagree with DY and his match summation. I take on board what he said after Annan and Montrose. Did we have the defeats coming? Don't think we are a team on the slide. Fingers crossed we entertain the global audience. Ask any manager, any day of the week, what is the latest on signings. The answer is always the same. We are looking at a couple of players. I trust DY will get it right. PS Who was Stuart Kettlewell watching at Forthbank Monday night?
  13. No surprises in first half. Hamilton fast and direct. Unlike Falkirk, they couldn’t close the game. The penalty?? was poorly taken. And reflected HAFC last 20mins. Albion continue to make it a joy to turn up at Forthbank. Part-timers, with full-time effort.
  14. If someone dropped cash in GK.It’s behind the bar, possibly Kelly fan.
  15. Surface was VG. Weather fine. Effort 100%. Game lacked something. Prior to goal I would have given both sides 1/2 point. Another good 20 mins from Cooper. Recent nightmare has now passed.
  16. Small crumb of comfort from Tues. Best 45mins by FFC in a long time. The season has barely started, both sides chasing a win. Hope the terracing is a success. Sadly not for me, with my dodgy plumbing. Corbett (FB) doesn’t have happy memories playing against Stirling.
  17. Perhaps you didn’t see one, I assume, local lad goading Aberdeen fans as they spilled from the south terracing., after the match. Fortunately stewards and police were on hand. Don’t know if I should be concerned for his mental health or physical well being.
  18. 2 days to go, topic beginning to have some relevance. 4 days between matches is not ideal. Did Stirling emerge from Dons game without injury? Possibly Saturday damage assessment and light training. Today friends and family. Monday team talk and more light training. DY continues to get the balance right. PS re Battle of Falkirk 1746. What colours did the away team play in?
  19. This game is a win/win for me. Since their glory days, Aberdeen have always been my “wee” team. The manner in which Stirling progressed from the group stages was a great achievement. If we come through the game injury free, I will be happy. Staff could see it differently and see it as an opportunity to be a shop-window.
  20. Rory MacFadyen is a beast. Speedy Gomez blows hot and cold. When all else fails, we usually leave a wad of used fivers in the refs dressing room.
  21. Have Alloa considered playing without a ball?
