  1. Probably not for tomorrow's game. But on Tuesday against Hamilton, cars parked on the pavement around Forthbank, received parking tickets. Don't want our day being spoiled.
  2. Cup tie feel to that one. Some heroic performances from Stirling. Rankin looking at his watch in the last couple of minutes.??
  3. Optimistically I am thinking JR will be rotating his squad, with a view to the playoffs. Reality is Hamilton, are closer to Pos 5 rather than pos 1. I will hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
  4. Eagerly await this rematch. Looks like the pitch will be it good nick again. Full squad firing on all cylinders. A win and DY is a great guy. Lose and we will have been beaten by a better team. Regardless of result won’t be greetin’ like a bairn.
  5. It’s been raining most of the day. I hope it was pose a problem.
  6. Another gutsy performance from a continuing to improve Stirling. Resulting in a well earned point. Gamesmanship and fakery are not new in sport. But why do full-time players resort to such tactics against a part-time side. Is it a mark of respect? When Carrick placed the ball for undisputed penalty. Kerr’s actions were embarrassing. Penalty was well struck and accurate. Suman had good game. The 8 up the back, in travelling support (50isshh). Seemed to had a good day.
  7. Weather forecast similar to last week, playing surface makes for entertaining football. Last meeting had me thinking the pack were chasing pos 4 only. Football can bite you in the bum, it's a long time till May. My juices are flowing for this one and the result could mean the return of weird dreams. Forthbank community positive re DY signing on till 2026.
  8. Couldn’t agree with you more. After all the call offs it was nice to see the ball being stroked about on an super surface.
  9. I can imagine their defence. “I was only trying to be funny.” Don’t wait till the next time. If several fans heard it. The club would appreciate an e-mail/telephone call.
  10. Spot on. Every summer I eagerly await the fixture list. I look at old rivalries, visiting old and new grounds on a Saturday. I make plans but never assume, as life often gets in the way. Last season we had several games postponed. A memorable re-arranged match was against Bonnyrigg at NDP. Carrick scored in closings minutes. Tightening our grip on the title. Yes it's only a game.
  11. Agreed. Ground has some give and only becoming better.
  12. Ouch, he's on the wind up to the fans, of course he is. He can hear the fury and knows what has happened, so is playing the pantomime villain and is milking it to get a reaction, doesn't mean it wasn't a foul or a sore one. I used to do the same from time to time, so what There was me thinking, the sun was in his eyes. RC, manager booked and away fans seething. I would call that a good day at the office.
  13. Ideal winter’s afternoon for football. Sunny, clear and breathless. A real mid-league tussle, with a bit of edge, both sides didn’t disappoint. Could have went either way. The win is a tonic for Stirling.
  14. New faces. are welcome, especially when you’re bumping along the lower half of the league. Will travel to Montrose with some optimism. Expect loanee be given 60minsissh.
  15. Interesting. I take it that BBC Alba aren't tied to broadcast, re-scheduled match.
  16. No winners when a game is postponed. After debacle with Dumbarton, this is a bitter pill. I am a simple punter and feel I should shoulder some responsibility. I could have contacted the club and asked about covers, rather than wait for a post on SM. Re hospitality, hasn't be cancelled in the past. So would imagine it went ahead as norm. Every day is a school day.
  17. Sunny but frosty. Could be in the balance.
  18. hope we ain't as charitable in giving away the 1st goal which seems to be the norm . Goes with territory when your in lower part of the league. What pleased me last week, was we pulled the goal back against a team that had became fully defensive. Very pleased Carrick was our scorer. Attitude is still positive, so fingers crossed.
  19. Both defences are like leaky buckets. Hope to see goals, might even be a goal fest.
  20. I fear, that you fear, that I think. That anybody has a clue as to how this one will go.
  21. Embro are at their weakest. Points on offer for Stirling.
  22. Agreed. But he seems invisible to his team-mates. Several times he had his hand in the air and in acres of space.
  23. Just popped out to use the cludgie. Close to Forthbank. Ground firm.. I expect the game to go ahead.
