  1. 1-3 is being conservative. Is it the Hester effect? Our defence wobbles at the mere site of KH. Always important to take something from a game. BC is a miracle worker.
  2. 4 points would keep us on course re DY target, for last quarter.
  3. Take a chill pill. I was praising the away supporters for travelling in substantial numbers. The pic was taken at half-time 15:53.
  4. Are you suggesting, while Dumbarton were top of the league and winning . All the refereeing decisions were correct.
  5. Very few games this season Stirling have failed to score. Goals coming from all areas of the team. Yes, we also have off days.
  6. Home 800, away 300. Stirling is definitely buzz in’. The looms in Yorkshire must be working o/t with the number of new hats and scarfs I’ve seen. Like Dumbarton, Forthbank has been designed with crowds of 1K -2K in mind. With our opposing stands. It heightens the atmosphere.
  7. Are we speaking to the right people within Active…. Speaking to cleaner in Peak earlier in the week. She could tell me how many were in hospitality tomorrow.
  8. Still on a drinking theme. At Springkerse View mention football and you will receive 10% of food/drink. There is also the Cricket club which is possibly the nearest watering hole to Forthbank. A modern clubhouse. I visited a few seasons ago and they had a private function on. So it kind of put me off. Call them first if your thinking of visiting. I contacted CC. bar will be open for you from, 1230pm till kick off
  9. Yes, it’s not far. I was hinting at following your scented trail.
  10. Careful what you wish for.I would settle for a Forfar win and Stirling victory at weekend.
  11. Both teams know the route to goal. Similar tempo to our last meeting at Forfar and I will be happy. Mild evening forecasted. Samba drums and sizeable crowd. Closet I’ll ever get to a European tie.
  12. Over the next few weeks I could be kicking balls in my sleep.
  13. I thought Bonnyrigg started to wilt a bit after their big giant No 14 was subbed. No 14 gave up in exasperation. Marked out the game by Stirling no 16.
  14. The playing surface is in good nick. Seemingly after removing covers this morning. A 4/5 metre strip was frosted. Frost cleared by the morning sun. Our ground can be affected by water logging. Clue in the name. But yes, the grounds man at Forthbank does an excellent job.
  15. A difficult watch, in bitterly cold conditions. Two teams with vastly different agendas. Three good goals. Duffy’s goal, his first for Stirling, was an excellent strike. His celebration , said it all. A sizeable travelling support had to put up with time-wasting etc by Rose. That’s what happens when your scrapping at the bottom.
  16. Will DFC concede the league, if they lose this game?
  17. Does the ref have a horticultural qualification?
