  1. Can't see Tidser moving given he's probably one of our highest earners , disappointing as he's been. Sadly I think we will stuck with most bar Moore, Leitch, Johnstone (loan out) and if Toshney is out long term probably won't get offered a deal now. Which is a shame for the lad. I'd love to see McLean, McShane moved on but just can't see it happening in this window. Be a couple out and in at best.
  2. Lee Miller. Probably only because Moore is going back to Hearts if he hasn't already.
  3. Could be a last game for one or two in the squad today, Moore is definitely going back to Hearts, I can't see Leitch getting kept either. I'd expect Toshney, Miller and Longridge to be offered deals till end of the season. Johnstone out on loan.
  4. Gomis and Telfer still suspended. Durnan is back though
  5. I can see us scraping a win. Last week proved there is a vulnerability even when we go a couple in front and the opposition get a goal back. That said if McManus had scored with his chance to make it 3 I think we might have gone on to win 4 or 5. Think this will be a stuffy affair, 2-1 us, McManus with a late winner.
  6. It also proves that despite us being utterly dung, this league is woeful. Any half decent manager that has a bit of nouse should be able to get a tune out of this squad. It's just unfortunate that our last one was a total diddy.
  7. Better than Lex Miller lol A corpse would be better than that cnut
  8. Lee Miller and David McCracken in charge on an interim basis apparently. Nothing official confirmed yet.
  9. My money is on yogi tbh. Whether we like it or not. He's free, got experience, knows the club and isn't a gamble like Miller or McCracken. The only sticking point with him is he will probably want to know how much money is in the pot. Not a lot John not a lot.
  10. After the disaster of Hartley and McKinnon I wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Hughes, Miller or McCracken announced. Even if it's just to take the heat of the board. Not saying any of them are right for the job. But it harks back to the time when Houston was appointed, someone with an affinity to the club.
  11. Seems to me like our board want to shaft us one last time by giving us this guy then riding off into the sunset with the cigars out.
  12. McKinnon said he would be a fantastic player when fit, he's still waiting like the rest of us. I think he's fit now but so far he's been poor in the games he's had overall. He's down the pecking order now after Sammon, McManus, McMillan I'd say. Hard to believe he once got a move to Birmingham City on what I've saw of him.
  13. If we don't bin McKinnon then I think you lot are a stick on for the league tbh.
  14. Clyde 1-1 Stranraer Dumbarton 1- 1 Airdrie Falkirk 0- 1 Forfar Montrose 1-2 East Fife Raith 2 - 1 Peterhead
  15. We don't even look like scoring so I expect a nil nil borefest or narrow away win. Defensively in the league we aren't conceding many but we can't create at the other end. The fringe players never pulled up any trees in the Raith game. I can't see any of them starting on Saturday. McKinnon needs to somehow find a formula and sharpish or he might find his career in management is all but over.
  16. Lose today and that's pretty much the final nail in McKinnon's coffin for me.
  17. Can't help but think this is last throw of the dice by McKinnon to save his neck. It's a bad throw though because this signing wasn't what was required. As others have alluded to width n pace was what was required. Bye Ray.
  18. Really can't see how you lot are going to get anywhere near us this season but we have the McKinnon factor it could be a lot closer than it should be. Good luck for the season chaps.
  19. DKD would just reaffirm the fact that we are going to piss this league. He wants to be at the bairnabeu. Get it done Ray.
  20. Given he went and asked the board for more than initially budgeted for I'd say it's all been spent. The current board had said they would fund the extra out their own pockets till the new owners came in. Hence any other players coming in would need to be loans with the parent club paying all or a good proportion of the player's wages. The Hartley debacle and basically having to get rid of an entire squad and start again bled the cash reserves dry according to our board.
  21. Daily Express reporting we want McManus on a season loan. Given St Johnstone wanted us to pay the wages to take a fringe player on loan from them I can't see it happening unless uncle Roy is footing the bill or at least a bit of it. I think our budget is near enough spent given McKinnon has gave two year deals to pretty much all our signings bar Gomis and Sammon. Who will probably be on decent money for a season to play in league 1.
  22. Given the st Johnstone youth player was maybe on what £500-600 a week which they wanted us to foot the bill for I can't see McManus being on less given moneybags McGregor is paying the bill for that club. He won't be signing unless it's a loan with county paying some of his wages imo.
  23. I did see he moved his family up there aswell, but heard a rumour that either he and/or his family wants back down to the central belt.
