I'll caveat that by saying Dunfermline who won it fairly comfortably added to theirs and have gotten worse. I certainly didn't think they'd be in a relegation battle.

Clearly we will take Martin once he's recovered from injury and maybe the keeper as back up. Rankin as boot boy maybe.

Both are. They might get us over the line between them but we need much better next season.

We never do things the easy way but that's a severe boot in the gonads to the mess that is Accies. That'll be Rankin away surely and Scott Martin thinking about wearing a Falkirk strip next season. Glorious

I'm not convinced McGlynn has ever been 100% on McCann. Given Mackie was supposed to be his left back and banged the drum long about him being xyz. Reality being McCann has fought his corner and will be a better left back than Mackie ever will as the day is long. Whether that gets McCann a new deal or not he's one I'd be sad to see go. I don't think he's done much wrong not to merit a new contract.

Scott Martin is a massive loss I know one man doesn't make a team but that guy is a very good player and an influence on the team. It would be akin to us losing Lang who has been an absolute collusus at the back for us. These things play a factor aswell.

I'm taking nowt for granted here, if Hamilton have any ideas on the title they'll have to come out all guns blazing and try to win more so with us now having a game in hand. Anything other than three points for them and the noose tightens on Rankin. I think this might be cagier than most expect. A win for us however and the brow of the hill becomes that little bit closer. Probably take a point right now, no damage done and move on to next game.

I'm not itk about all things Raith but since Stanton has been injured they haven't been the same apparently. Sold Gullan but brought in Rudden. Airdrie will be difficult as feck if we win tomorrow, pains me to say it but McCabe has done a great job there with not a lot of resources.

There's some decent players that have came from the juniors the one that sticks out in recent times is Pittman at livi who came from Broxburn Athletic, then you've got the boy Walker who's just left Kelty for Dundalk, glad to see we are keeping an eye on that market aswell.

If we go up the championship might be a leveller for some players though (Miller apart) there's not a lot between all the teams generally. McGlynn has had it kind of all his own way this season so far. If we go up he'll want to improve again. For me that means binning both keepers, Mackie, Oliver, McGinn, Bisland off the top of my head.

Wonder if there were a few clubs sniffing about big Hendo for McGlynn to get him tied up similar to Coll. Either way excellent piece of business.

If we see at any point tonight I'll wager it's a winger and Morrison is offski.

I couldn't give a f**k as long as Morrison doesn't adorn it by close of play tomorrow.

I'd be more concerned by the irish sash bash select that are trying to get Morrison.

Raith are having a bit of a wobble I wouldn't be surprised to see an Airdrie win on pens. Hard game for us though I think this mob might be the toughest test for us yet this season.That said I thought Dundee Utd might have been but we tore them a new arse. It's set up for Declan McManus to score against us isn't it?

I think Black was a fanny in general tbh, Ryan Stevenson told a story about his time at Hearts when Black had a go at big Christian Nade in the dressing room and got knocked spark out.

Marc McNulty rumour that someone posted on here because he's pals with Shanley? Non starter even if there was a microcosm of truth to it we couldn't afford his wages.

If he's doing those sort of antics to the fans it never ends well.

Martindale won't be there to oversee it that's for sure. He'll take his bag of cash and f**k off despite him bleating about not walking away. His ego has still a microphone in front of it currently but only just. You might be better placed with a new gaffer at the helm.

He's came to us for game time and basically found himself mirroring where he was at with Raith ie can't get a regular start. That's no slight on him as players have been better in front of him. It's up to him to break into the side. Otherwise I'm not sure he'd be high on the list of priorities to sign a permanent contract, as it stands.

I don't think makes any great difference, if it did come to that I don't think we'd be totally part time more hybrid. So we'd still have some full time players. I think it's likely that maybe a club or two were after him this window or on a PCA. Hence get him tied up now.

Its a win win, there were probably clubs sniffing about him and so if they want him they'll now have to pay a fee regardless of what league we are in next season so makes sense to get him tied up now. I just hope there are one or two more follow suit.
