  1. Blair Sneddon joins Falkirk from Camelon Juniors on a 3 year deal.
  2. Mutch, Todd, Sneddon, Gomis, Miller, Laverty, Leitch and Sammon (sigh) are all signed up. Remains to be seen how many of the rest will be here. If I was to guess Connolly, Dixon,Hall, Durnan (not fussed) probably stick ons. I really hope Telfer isn't.
  3. I just hope it isn't followed by a new deal for Telfer
  4. 2yr deal for Gary Miller and made captain.
  5. Sammon should be on the bench at best unless there's injury or suspension even then Lee Miller is a better option. It's just a pity we are stuck with him for another season.
  6. You'd like to think M&M will know the weaknesses and where we need to strengthen by now. There will be a lot more players to choose from, young guys like Dowds might be worth a punt if we can get some better quality to supplement them.
  7. I see everyone's favourite sand dancer Higginbotham has joined the ex Falkirk fraternity at Kelty.
  8. Someone on the East Fife thread saying it's likely Dowds is signing for us.
  9. I just think that McCracken has took a bit of what he learnt off Houston in the regard that he won't go for it when we have to and is content not to lose, Miller seems to be more than happy to be best mates with the players. They haven't done much wrong though, but as you say big test for them ahead, the recruitment has to be right.
  10. Sammon being a perfect example. Most I think thought/hoped he would "stroll" this league, which watching him play is about all he does do.
  11. I don't mind us trying to sign young hungry players with energy and a point to prove, the team is devoid of pace. But I'd also like to see us at least try n go for someone like Danny Mullen who has been freed from St. Mirren. He probably wouldn't come but if you don't ask you don't get.
  12. Given Dunfermline's penchant for signing our ex players and the fact they have some disposable it would be hilarious if they signed Sammon next.
  13. They could have made a lot more from strip sales if it was a halfway decent effort. I'm surprised at McHugh being 9th choice I always thought Houston's preferred option was all the eggs in one basket and Brian Graham I didn't realise we had a second never mind ninth choice.
  14. I wouldn't say O'Hara is a cracking signing, there's not much to back that up bar a few goals at Alloa. Thomas and McManus pretty decent though.
  15. I don't think they will all stay. I wouldn't be averse to G Miller, Connolly, Hall, Dixon, possibly Durnan staying on, Telfer can go. I still think we'd need to add a good few new signings to those and the ones still under contract. I just hope we don't end up with a threadbare squad like we did in January which saw Miller pull the boots on, although a marked improvement on both Sammon and McMillan.
  16. I don't think it will be anyway near 250k., not up front anyway. Apparently it was significantly less than what Hibs offered for him in January although still a six figure fee.
  17. The thought of Sammon wandering aimlessly about the park looking like he can't be arsed for another season is dreadful. But then who's going to be stupid enough to want him.
  18. O'Hara is a strange signing for them. He did nothing of note at us or when he left us, till he rocked up at Alloa. He's either going to grasp the opportunity or be a huge flop. I think he could be one of those that plays better when there isn't the same pressure on him, although he had a few loan spells at the likes of Stenny where he struggled to get a game. Big gamble on a three year deal.
  19. They will be giving him a chunk of the cash they got for Nisbet.
  20. Thought I saw somewhere when he signed his last deal there was another year option. Could be wrong though. You'd imagine he would be one we would be looking to keep.
  21. We seem to be ok financially so I'd say we could offer him decent terms if he wants full time football. Apparently made a decent offer to McManus but he wants pastures new. I think we would be able to offer better terms than Ayr and Raith. But if the boy wants to play at a higher level then that could scupper us.
  22. The remote thought of Di Vita on a permanent contract would give you the boak..
  23. Name and shame the other clubs Sammon had interest from, we could all do with a laugh!
  24. If you look at that St.Mirren team it had, McGinn, Magennis, Morgan, Mullen, Cammy Smith, Ross Stewart to name a few, there's always going to be a weak link but if the players round about have better ability then it's not as noticible. Put McShane in our team and it sticks out like a sore thumb he's mince.
