  1. Funny to think that one day the South Stand will be completely red as the yellow seats continue to break and be replaced by red ones.
  2. I don’t think they’re ever sold. We’re not allowed to sell full capacity in 3/4 stands. I think they may be obscured by the wheelchair shelter now anyway.
  3. I generally like the podcast although it can certainly be hit or miss. Without being personal, one of them in particular is very snide and sarcastic when things aren’t going well, similar to how Richard Gordon has been on the radio recently. Also made a really shite comment about Cormack when he had his heart scare which stuck with me. Have to say I cringe whenever “Bobby’s soggy biscuit” is read out. Had to turn off the recent episode when they were all pished after five minutes too. Aside from that, I quite like it
  4. I wouldn’t trust all of our group to make that, especially if we win and qualify the night before!
  5. You may have misinterpreted the 10am part. I think it refers to onward travel on regional trains.
  6. If anyone’s looking for a flight back, Basel looks a decent option. 3hr from Stuttgart. 7pm BA flight to Heathrow and then onto Edinburgh or Glasgow that night for £170 total, hold bag included and transfer covered. I couldn’t find another option that gets you back to Scotland on the 24th for under £200 and doesn’t involve an early start.
  7. “The fool who persists in his Folly will become wise”
  8. I don’t disagree, although a year of missing squads won’t help his case.
  9. I would be amazed if Patterson and McLean don’t make it. There are still big question marks around Gordon and Hanley imo.
  10. He’s done well to get 33 caps from carrying the luggage.
  11. Perfect time to sack him. Winter break gives us a couple of weeks to identify and recruit the next guy. Add in a defensive midfielder and a competent manager can lead this squad to third.
  12. I agree. The whole fixture card should’ve been scheduled for the 26th from the start, before Sky could move Well vs Sevco to the 24th.
  13. Coming back, it goes from €100 on the Sunday to €400 on the Monday. Scammers.
  14. It’s the opposite, the club will lose a fortune as a result of the postponement. Home crowds are usually bigger during the festive period and there will have been more demand for the away end and hospitality for tonight than for a rearranged midweek game.
  15. The pitch was fine. Early inspections are often done by local refs anyway, not by the officials for the game itself.
  16. Dens/Tannadice are up there with the best away days in the country. Countless pubs, close enough to the city centre, not far from the kingsway for those driving etc. These plans would ruin that. New stadium would have poor transport links and pre match entertainment would consist of drinking in a brewers fare in a retail park. Not for me.
  17. Would’ve been 5-0 if they’d operated on Kazakh time.
  18. This sounds like a good laugh, shame we’re not involved.
  19. Shouldn’t be playing top tier games at diddy lower league grounds.
  20. It’s funny that many English fans draw the line at a ‘super league’ in terms of what’s acceptable. Takeovers from states with questionable human rights records, extortionate ticket prices, kick off times being moved all over the place etc but this is the part they object to. They lost their game a long time ago. I would be perfectly happy if these money teams all did their own thing and left the rest of us to it (ideally taking the cheeks with them). Keep the conference league in place to give European football to proper clubs.
  21. We may have identified players but convincing them to sign for a club with no manager is a different story altogether.
  22. Train booked from Munich to Cologne for the 16th. Disappointed that it doesn’t appear to be a double decker.
  23. Barely heard a peep from the teddy bears for most of the game. North Stand was silent aside from a few of them watching us instead of the game. I thought they’d be more up for a cup final. Has never been the case when we’ve played Celtic, Hibs, Morton etc at Hampden.
