  1. A bit befofe my time. I googled him and his stats are incredible seems to have beem a world class player
  2. Russell Latapy, Tony Parks, John Collins, Brian Laudrup
  3. Finding it hard to watch 'Razor Ruddock' in this without recalling the story of him being in the team bath and picking up a toley that he had crapped out and pretending to smoke it like a cigar when the rest of the team came in.
  4. What a a tv series, brilliant from start to finish Walton Goggins is exceptional in it.
  5. Odds on for there to be a 'next Dundee manager' thread to be started before this game is over.
  6. I wish the players did think they were better than they are, there was zero evidence of that on Saturday. A bit of confidence and stupidly ambitous efforts would have been preferable to the lacklustre passing across midfield and last resort crosses into the keepers hands.
  7. I really feel sorry for the Bury fans but am sure they will manage to regroup at some level in the non league envioronment. I'm not up on lower league English football but reading David Conn's reporting it sounds like Bury and Bolton are the tip of the iceberg and a few clubs could end up in the same predicament.
  8. My take on the ball boy non incident was he had twice delayed giving the ball back and then threw the ball away from Bell. I can understand Bell's frustration. He shouldnt have grabbed the ball out of the ballboys hands but whoever is responsible for the ballboys could have nipped it in the bud before.. The ballboy falling to the ground holding his face as if he had been hit and then giving the finger to the falkirk crowd made it farcical.
  9. Full marks to Clyde they probably deserved that, still looked more threatening than us on their sporadic forays up the park in the 2nd half, Grant was outstanding and Goodwillie led the line superbly. Pass marks for Gomis but we were dire, slow, predictable and the final ball was invariably wasteful. The centre half won't have an easier game Sammon wasn't at the races ,though the service he was getting was dreadful. The highlight of the game was the bellend behind me a man in his fifties losing his shit at the time wasting, that and the fact at the pie stall they had spelled crisps with an h 'chrisps.'
  10. Colqhuoun was last seen in the amatuers a while back. Famously known as shovel as it was his weapon of choice. He was fucking terrible.
  11. My two worst games to attend as a fan were against Clyde the 6-1 game obviously, I left at 4. There was a game at Ochilview that was similarly depressing played in horrendous conditions, I'm sure that Andy Smith scored the winner for Clyde in that one.
  12. My first season of going regularly to Falkirk games was the season that Duffy's team just missed out on winning the league so I'll always like him for that team.
  13. When was the last time we won 6-0? I remember the game against Hearts at Brockville the season we got relegated from the premier but I'm struggling to think of another.
  14. Love this directors work to date this looks excellent.
  15. Given the time between Yogi leaving and the Academy closing, the board must have been terrified of him.
  16. I think sluggish turgid pish is Ray's style. If we win the league it will be a shitfest.
  17. Bit patronising to say most fans will fall for it. Falkirk fans have more reasons than most to be sceptical given our ownership history. I would trust the fans more than our current board to see past any bullshit.
  18. This is all true but on your call it was the words 'let's go to Dawn in Falkirk' that gave me the fear. You couldn't fault her optimism or enthusiasm for Falkirk but it was absoloutely cringeworthy even by that shows standards.
  19. In Gordon Parks defence, he is thick as shit. He writes like Clyde Superscoreboard sounds.
  20. https://images.app.goo.gl/6AHx74tEXLZh6rJB6 A photo from Stuart Roy Clarke's The Game of Morton fans.
  21. The Power Of Nightmares is Adam Curtis' best film imo.
