  1. That was a cracking bit of play and just unforunfortunate for County that Randall couldn't finish it, with Dhanda again heavily involved who won't be given as much freedom as we afforded him last night in every game he plays that's for sure, but I really like the look of him now that Adams is playing more to his strengths than McKay obviously did. Type of player who can get fans out their seats, would kill for someone of his ilk in our team just now to link middle to front and provide some genuine quality and entertainment.
  2. Maybe we did pop him at 9am and they've just not been able to escape from his goodbye monologue and parting speech yet to announce it.
  3. Aye, a Christmas '23 remake of that game, with 2 new laddies recreating the defensive pairing high fiving each other after every clearance for the entire 90mins and leading us to an unlikely win. Every 'Well fans new favourite festive feelgood watch. If only we had a couple of lads who fit the bill (or if we do, they were at least in the building)...
  4. I know exactly what our place in the grand scheme of things is, and we've had more than a few close shaves with the trap door in my 40 years or so of going to Fir Park. These past few seasons though (Kettlewell's initial purple patch aside) have felt like the most sustained period of watching dross and scrapping for survival, and now with one of the most unbalanced squads that I can remember. Saturdays have been a fucking grind on the whole for a fair old while. There's the bones of an ok 11 in what we have. A new man coming in and adding in the right positions in January could have a decent punt at getting us to safety, while utilising the likes of Spittal and Biereth properly to make us easier on the eye. Whoever it is better fvcking bin Captain Calamity though, and maybe try playing the best of what we have in their actual preferred positions. That'd be a better starting point than the complete lottery that team selection is at the moment.
  5. Just showed Dhanda's goal again there when he was leaving the field, and watching Kelly stand and watch it go in has got me absolutely fucking triggered. I know he's been pish all season, but he had a couple of similarly shocking performances at the time Hammell got bagged (Raith in particular). Its happening again and it's surely going to end in the same outcome for Kettlewell after this.
  6. Butcher obviously not fancying the fight and heading back to chill on the treatment table.
  7. It's like one of those 'tops vs skins' games you had as kids. Just 10 guys, randomly running about the park hoping to score more than the other lot. Who needs actual tactics?
  8. Must know he's really fvcked if he's finally giving Davor minutes. Triple sub as a hail Mary to try and save his job. Too late, get oot.
  9. Thank fvck that fell to the fullback, as it really should have been buried, along with any minute hope of us taking anything from this game. Like everyone we've played lately, County are carving us open at will. Who'd have thought it with that starting 11?
  10. Doesn't matter, goal difference makes no odds when you finish bottom anyway.
  11. Why the f**k does Kelly not even move?, you see that shot coming a mile off. Get him to absolute fvck.
  12. If we get what I expect we will tonight with that line up (fucking horsed), the cvnt can just forget getting back on the bus and relocate back up there. That's an abomination of a selection.
  13. Love the very chic and minimalist styling he's obviously taken his time to create. I'm guessing that wearing his suit and tie pin, and with Blue WKD and Malibu on offer that he's operating a strictly high-end members only establishment. Nice.
  14. He's not turning this round. It's not a matter of if, just when the trigger is pulled, and the sooner the better imo. Fvck knows who we go for next though, or who would want it. The past few years have been a very expensive managerial shitshow.
  15. Absolutely fucking dreadful yet again. How Dundee conspired to give us a point I don't know. The amount of times we failed to complete simple 5 yard passes was criminal, and an absolute shambles at both ends of the pitch. Some atrocious defending, and Obika's miss coupled with the one Wilkinson skied into the Cooper showed just how badly we're lacking quality (Biereth aside) up front. Dundee look a decent enough side and played some nice stuff in the acres of space we gave them, but the pundit on BBC radio claiming it was a classic game of football was stretching things slightly. This Motherwell side is utter fucking bobbins.
  16. I've made a last minute decision to attend the works Christmas do tonight. The Christmas shopping trip into Glasgow tomorrow that I've already agreed to with the wife is going to be a fucking write off.
  17. Aye, I should have said the demands of sections of the Celtic support are mental, there is a sensible element among them somewhere.
  18. Probably as simple as seats and stairwells near the front of the lower being covered in snow that they can't be arsed clearing, so with the upper area being better protected against the elements they're using that.
  19. He's been in and out of the Celtic team due to styles of play and managers tactics, not because of any failings as a player. He's still a class act. The demands of the Celtic support are mental, and their view that he's not 'Celtic class' skews the perception of him and what he brings to a team. For his limited game time over the past couple of seasons, his stats still stack up incredibly well. They see themselves as being and deserving elite European level quality (which they don't think DT is), yet every season it's proven they're far from it when they get handed their arse in almost every Champions league match they play. I'm not saying he should be on the radar of Real Madrid, but he is a very technically gifted player. If he gets a move to a team that plays to his strengths, and a manager who'll give him a run of games, he'll 100% kick on and realise his full potential and, if he's brave enough to take the plunge, going abroad would be his best chance of achieving that imho.
  20. Dundee carry a decent away support, no? Unless there were safety concerns around snow/access along Dalziel Drive I'd think they'll be in the South.
  21. Can someone just let us all know when the alias revealing and subsequent binning has been done? Not even December until tomorrow and this is already, hands down, the worst pantomime of the year.
  22. Any chance we could stick the big man in as a ringer for a few weeks?
