    8 for Thursday. after the hanging around waiting for the Scottish latecomer to eventually post. I’ll now give my congratulations to @The Hologram and team Scotland. Worthy victors and at least we made a fight of it in the final round. Proud of my team and thoughts and love to the 2 guys that were struck with tragedy during the competition.

    Really saddening to see Team Scotland letting themselves down over a delayed score. At least our scores were all in and accounted for. It’s a hollow victory for the haggis eating, skirt wearing jocks.

    I do believe at no point did he say Scotland had WON the ride her cup. You sir have jumped the gun. Put your wee celebratory drams down and pack away the porridge spoons. Just you remember, slips is the boss in this house!

    I believe that the Ride her cup rules state that any member failing to complete will result in full disqualification of the entire team. Surely we will be enforcing this rule? As our outstanding player is not a fully sworn in member of the team and a mere valiant substitute, then said rules do not, and should not apply to him. This is why I have delayed my congratulations. Rules are rules and deviating from these rules would set a dangerous precedent for future competitions. When’s the deadline? 10mins from now? Sounds fair!

    Excuse me but our MC has not announced the official results yet. I will wait to pass on my congratulations until @SlipperyPhas confirmed there are no penalties to be imposed (please slips, pretty please). that being said, we made a fist of it in the final round, from a mile behind we had the Scottish team shiteing themselves coming up the final few holes. it’s a moral victory for the RoW troops nonetheless. I’ll congratulate my boys for the valiant effort and the outstanding team camaraderie shown.
