    League C result. Pleslie999 beats markf268 by resignation Good game, wasn't much in it I don't think. The trades at the end getting rid of all rooks and both Queens left me with a Bishop proved enough. Valiant attempt by Markf268 to offer the draw near the end, figured My Bishop was going to be enough and it seemed so.

    That felt like an epic battle. Although I always felt I had u under pressure I couldn't quite make the breakthrough. Your rook that was over on the king-side out the game hindered you a bit I thought and allowed me to get all my pieces attacking the queen side. Then that carnage of trades In the middle of the board tipped it in my favour. Good game.

    Scottish Cup result. @gkneil beats pleslie999 by checkmate. A wild game, I had no idea what I was doing in the opening but thought I came out of it ok and was doing pretty well until a few blunders. Looking at the analysis I had the chance to win it somewhere in the middle. Anyone looking at that game it was blunder central by both of us for a bit, mine just ended up a bit more costly Good game, beaten by the better player in the end.

    I'm happy with Faz tbh. Mainly due to the speed of the appointment, get him in, let him start building his side. Hes not a total newbie which would be a risk and not a dinosaur just looking for a final payday. Whatever happens the football can't be any worse than Duffy so it's a promising start.

    Our pitch struggled last year even when hardly used for months on end how! how would it cope with another team playing a full league campaign on it?

    I'm delighted JD has gone and we can make a fresh start, get rid of the majority if the team and let the new manager come in and make his own stamp. I dont really mind what the new guy does but as long as we actually try to win games I'll be happy. I'd like us to go down the young, making his mark kind of guy like we did when we appointed Iain Murray. Someone like Mick Kennedy at Darvel would be a shout with his contacts in the game although he wouldn't come, we probably don't pay as much as Darvel!

    Cheers, I seem to have the odd good game then some proper disasters I'm currently playing @mathematics in a load of friendlies and he will vouch for that. My issue is I see one attack and go for it, if my plan gets put to bed by my opponent I get stuck not knowing what to do, this one came off, most of the time they don't.

    Cheers, was a really Good game. You had me under a lot of pressure on my king side and 1 wrong move would've seen me mated on a number of occasions. I was trying to trade queen's on numerous occasions which you weren't having as I couldn't see a way out lol once you lost your second rook it was gonna be tough. Amazingly the analysis says I made 0 blunders which is probably a 1st for me, I also made 0 best moves apparently lol

    It was the tie that Sky sports payed millions to show, the battle of the big guns. We just bottled it. There will be a documentary aired in years to come of our cup quizzing exploits.

    Got an email at 6pm tonight offering me a ticket for the game, I had to respond by 630pm if I wanted it. I was working until 7! Anyway, I'll watch it on Alba, didn't fancy the 2 hour sit around watching the grass grow.
