  1. Not really sure why you think its a "nonsense decision" When the rest of the country is in lockdown, not allowed to travel, meet up or leave houses. PT players are allowed to go about their business, share cars to get to games, share dressing rooms etc. All the way down to tier 7. 99% of players outwith the championship and down have other jobs, interacting with others etc then going to meet up with 20/30 of their team mates and staff is pretty high risk. With no testing in place it seems like a sensible decision to me. Premiership clubs get tested. At least championship clubs are FT and predominatly based in the one bubble. With regards to the Celtic debacle, im sure it won't be the last we have heard of it. The fact bookies have suspended betting on it may be an indicator of what is to come but who knows.
  2. Just finished 10k this morning and felt quite good tbh. Definitely helps having my mate running along with me. The cold doesn't bother me too much, got underarmour hat etc anyway so always pretty comfortable, it is genuinely the boredom that gets me. I do enjoy seeing the improvement mind you so thats keeping me going just now. Plus I'm raising money for charity while doing it so don't want to let them down. I do need a decent pair of running trainers, reckon that will help a bit too.
  3. Just stumbled across this thread. Seems it may give me some motivation to keep going. Due to a hernia op and the restrictions last year I spent so long doing nothing. Decided to get my finger out and started a 100km January challenge. I hate running, it bores the life out of me. My usual exercise is football, playing and refereeing but obviously that's been out for the last 9 months! My mate has come for my last 2 runs and its been much better so maybe thats the solution, but he wont be able to come every time. Any advice on how to stop it being so boring? Currently done 22km of my challenge and planning another 10k today.
  4. 9 for Wednesday, went the wrong way on a 50/50 for the French president. Was chuffed as hell until I see all the 10s lol
  5. I think, and I may be wrong, that he's at Pollok. I defo read that he joined them.
  6. Just noticed a comment on the FB page about giving young Michael a chance. I had the pleasure of taking in one of his youth teams games at the end of last season (in an official capacity before anyone thinks i was breaking rules etc) and although he seemed a very confident and competent young boy with an exceptionaly good kick for a young lad, we would be in all sorts of trouble if we went into a run of games with him as our no. 1. I can only assume JD will bring in cover from somewhere whether it be the juniors or another premiership loanee.
  7. Sick of them peddling the monster raving looney party drivel.......
  8. Has anyone ever considered us moving location, building a new stadium somewhere in the town with artificial pitch etc. Maybe say somewhere such as youngs farm, which seems like a perfect location with ample access for traffic, for example? Just a suggestion, maybe someone could pass this idea onto the owners..........
  9. They may generate money long term but as the above said u need money now to get one. Also, read previous posts from our former groundsman (if he was still groundsman then the majority if games this season would've been on) and you will see with our pitch its a bit more complicated than simply laying a plastic carpet.
  10. It was scheduled for 845am along with Inverness inspection. I was only wondering why 9am is earliest we are allowed? Not that it makes a difference, we all knew it was off about a week ago
  11. How did Arbroath get an earlier inspection this morning? Its pre 9am and theirs is already off following an inspection?
  12. Thats your opinion. I assume you are one of these people that think folk aren't real fans if they don't go to every game, buy a season ticket, every replica top and every live stream. Some people have differing priorities and are unable to watch when they like, sorry that you think their reasons are piss poor.
  13. There are a number of people who will have pre paid subscriptions to Sky/BT and maybe feel paying £12 for a 1 off game is too much so will watch whatever game is shown live on the platforms they already have. There are a number of reasons I can think tbh
  14. I must be on Santa's nice list as he rewarded me with a festive full house! Merry Christmas to all on the friendliest thread P&B has and will ever see!
