    Pleslie999 beats markf268 by checkmate not a classic but an enjoyable game. Marching my king forward was the only way I could see to win otherwise I was going to be trapped in the corner. It worked in the end. cheers for the game

    Just got round to watching the highlights. its one of those, very clumsy tbh, I wouldn’t have been shocked and couldn’t complain had it been given which would’ve led to a red card. Skelly is looking for it, probably knows the contact is coming which is clever, however, should’ve just stuck it away so he’s a dumpling for not doing so!

    It’s a terrible blow for Brett and for us. Easily the best keeper in the league. We have been blessed in recent times with decent keepers and hopefully Harry Broun can step up and fill the boots. Can only imagine we will have the u-20 keeper on the bench for the foreseeable

    Sorry, I admire your optimism but as a few of us feared when he 1st jumped on here promising the world, he is showing himself to be yet another charlatan loooking to make a pretty penny from DFC. He’s had ample time to look at the situation and start making good his promises, or at least communicate a plan of action. The silence is deafening. That is the view I will continue to hold until he pulls his finger out and proves us wrong.

    Cheers again for the game. I thought your resignation was a bit premature, I was up a rook and a couple pawns but I had no idea how to win from there my end games are traditionally pretty grim good luck for remaining games

    To be fair, we manage with these clubs as they generally aren’t all ticket affairs and there isn’t an abundance of these fans that stay in Dumbarton, so it’s a bit of an effort for them to trek through here just to buy a ticket in our end when in reality they can probably get one in the away end comfortably. With Rangers there’s a large majority of fans who live locally and will just rock up to the stadium to pick up a ticket for the home end. The club are on a hiding to nothing, they will do their best but unfortunately some rangers fans will no doubt be in the home end. I would personally limit it to season ticket holders plus 3 or so and if we have a few empty seats in the home end so be it.
