  1. First fireworks night with Eddie & Skye. Eddie couldn't give a f*ck, but Skye was a bit anxious. She took some chicken after the main town display was over, and was OK after about 30 minutes. One of our previous greyhounds used to take up to a week to stop shaking - he really hated fireworks. Here's Arthur (Affie) in 2016
  2. As I'm sure you are aware, @Orfc, it's up to the prosecution to prove beyond reasonable doubt that an offence has been committed. The defence doesn't have to prove innocence. If the prosecution was in a position to prove guilt, the potential defendants should have been charged. The fact that no-one has been charged suggests that the prosecutor does not have that necessary evidence at this time.
  3. Aye, it appears that you are right. The WM figures are based upon a 1213 sample size, so they are definitely more reliable than a 151 sample size. Hopefully it's just an outlier...
  4. It's the same poll that Stormzy posted earlier today, with the same Scottish subset of 151 voters. The tables can be downloaded from the Yougov site.
  5. Totally agreed, but no serious commentator will take these figures as gospel. Inputting the results of uk-wide subsamples into seat projection websites will usually throw up nonsensical results. Remember the ridiculous recent map showing Labour winning every Scottish seat based on their result in a couple of Englisk by-elections? Even the die-hard Yoons on here didn't seriously consider that result to be likely. I would be far more concerned if the YouGov poll was based on 1510 Scottish voters instead of 151. Then it might be a lot more statistically significant.
  6. I note that Stormzy hasn't linked to the tables behind this poll. Is it a full poll, or just a small sub-sample? A quick look at the YouGov website clears this up. It's a subsample of 151 people, upweighted to represent 177 people. The actual survey results are as follows (these figures represent percentages, not individuals, and don't knows/ would not vote are included) Con 6 Lab 27 Libdem 5 Snp 27 Plaid 0 Reform 3 Green 1 Other 1 Wouldn't vote 14 Don't know 13 Refused 3 Effectively, this means that the Labour vote referenced by Stormzy above is based on the opinion of around 41 people polled. Forgive me if I'm not overwhelmed by the result of this tiny subsample
  7. Skye appears to have developed the ability to look like the world's smallest greyhound. Eddie is smug about being the biggest bestest boy.
  8. If I recall Genesis correctly, it took him until the 4th day.
  9. What thing that never happens? Hoping that Labour f*ck things up is not the same as hoping that the Conservatives win. Personally, I would be happy with a hung parliament with Labour holding most seats & the SNP holding the balance of power. You've been given ample opportunity to provide proof of your claim that SNP supporters on here are hoping for a Tory win at the next GE. The two posts that you have quoted do not advance your case TL:DR - Stormzy is still persisting with his deluded pish.
  10. It must be difficult to remember your own continually changing username, never mind anyone else's, Stormzy. However, without proof of your ridiculous claims, I still don't believe you, and I doubt that many others will either.
  11. Can you provide some examples, Stormzy? Without them, and given your previous record on here, people are unlikely to believe you.
  12. Pedantic I know, but it was the Tories that produced that slightly racist advert, implying that Labour would be ruled from Scotland. Salmond had nothing to do with it, apart from being the subject (or victim, if you prefer)
  13. Surely "the people's champion PM" (copyright @RuMoore) is a honourable man of the proletariat, and wouldn't accept baubles from the UK establishment? He's going to abolish the House of Lords, and lead us to a utopian socialist republic, don't you know!
  14. I believe that they all use similar methods, but then apply their own weightings (based upon recalled vote, etc). A lot of them have specific "panels", who they go back to again & again to see whether opinions change. An organisation called the British Polling Council also sets out standards that members have to abide by. Whilst no polling compny is perfect, I would suggest that they are more statistically reliable than the unsupported assertions promoted by @CarrbridgeSaintee, @RuMoore and their sockpuppet aliases.
  15. Interestingly, as you suggest, support for Indy does not currently appear to be decreasing. The latest polling (Savanta, 6th-11th October 2023) shows the SNP on 35% for Westminster & 37% for Holyrood. As Indy is polling at 49% in the same poll, this suggests that 12-14% of Indy supporters vote for other parties. This supports my previous contention that around 30% of Labour voters would vote Yes in Indyref2. No wonder the Yoon democracy deniers are unwilling to risk a further referendum.
  16. In his eagerness to portray my post as defending Humza's idiotic off-the cuff policy, Stormzy's multibanned alias appeats to be ignoring the fact that I specifically stated I'm no fan of this policy. In the interests of clarity, I would add that I don't give a f*ck whether it appears to be costed or not. However, "the people's champion PM" is one of the stupidest things I've ever read on here, and should be highlighted for the absolute nonsense that it is.
  17. I'm not a fan of Humza's plan either, but look at this, from only 6 months ago...
  18. Are any of "our" P'n'B Yoons willing to admit to being in Lisburn tonight?
  19. FFS! You even mention Northern Ireland earlier in your post! "Britain" is not a country or a nation. It is a land-mass. The country that you want to remain part of is called the United Kingdom, or the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland. Why are so many Yoons unable to correctly name the nation that they wish to remain part of?
  20. It depends on the exact numbers as to potential coalitions, but I would point out that at a local council level, there are a lot more Lab/Con coalitions than there are SNP/Con coalitions. I suspect that going into formal coalition with the Tories would result in a mass exodous of SNP grassroots members. Could you say the same about Starmerite Labour?
  21. My recollection is that Westminster Labour, Tory & LibDem MP's always follow party lines when whipped. Can you provide an example of any occasion when they all voted on geographic lines instead? As a example, I note that both Scottish Labour MP's bravely abstained on the recent vote to allow employment rights to be devolved to the Scottish Parliament. One can only assume that they feel that it is preferable to leave employment rights in the hands of the Tories rather than to devolve these rights on a geographic basis. That's just one shameful instance. Please provide similar instances to support your view.
  22. Talking of false inflated numbers, do DiscoStu & all your other aliases get a vote, or do you only have one between you? You haven't heard about the new voter IQ checks then? You'll be turned away if you forget.
  23. ^^^ I'd back a tag team of Rab, Pink & Dick against any other management in the Championship.
  24. As I discovered only yesterday, Colonel Mustard was originally called Colonel Yellow. They decided to change the name before the first edition of Cluedo was released.
