  1. I suspect you might be right. If he remains involved with the Liverpool First Team and sees himself with 10-20 appearances over the course of the season, then I can see Clarke "ignoring him". I'm like you, I think we have to be a little bit patient with the lad, the last thing we need as a nation is us pilling pressure on a youngster only for him to crumble, like we have done with others. When he is ready to handle the lime light and when he is of use to Clarke, he'll be involved i'm sure and all going well for the lad, it'll be some time this season.
  2. I know you're talking hypothetically, and it's probably not my place to jump in, however when we played Arbroath in a pre-season friendly in the summer, he looked frighteningly good in a very very poor Arbroath side. I know you can't read too much into pre-season and all that but, whether it's at Championship level or not, I have no doubt he has what it takes to play in the senior leagues.

  13. Firstly, really sorry to read that your night was ruined by these cretins @Big Fifer, but sadly this behaviour does seem to becoming more and more common at gigs and as someone who is a regular gig go'er, I'm actually starting to question if I can be arsed going now. You are right, it seems to be since covid, people just do not care. I've never understood the mentality of people who get absolutely smashed and attend gigs, but I'm now even sure that this behaviour or the behaviour that I am referring too, is alcohol/drug induced, just simply people who don't give a flying f**k who they p off. It's not just youngsters either, woman in their 50's obviously on a day out away from their husbands at Tide Lines Usher Hall were the same, as were 40 something blokes at White Buffalo.....mental. Feel your pain mate, honestly don't know what you can do. As someone 6f 4.......maybe shrinking to 6ft 2ish....then I know what you mean about moving, have to say that I'm the same, pick my spot early and do my best to stick to it, maybe people like us are the mugs and are just too considerate Honestly wish I could be more like this!!!
  14. The White Buffalo - Ballad Of A Deadman
  15. Disappointing if true and it reeks of short-termism to me but I've always said that I don't want people committing to Scotland if they're not going to fully apply themselves to playing for the nation, so if he falls into the "Matt Ritchie" bracket then we're better off without him. Good luck to the lad though, good player. Edit to add that he has indeed been called into the England U21's
  16. Skerryvore - Can’t Find A Cure
  17. REM - It’s The End Of The World As We Know It
  18. To be honest, I probably would if I could somewhere that broadcasted some kind of highlights package, but I you'll be right at this moment in time
  19. I don't think you'll find many people arguing against you on that one @accies1874. I'm sure everyone is a fan of his however at this moment in time, I don't think we are seeing the best version of him. A run of game and a break in fortunes may just been the key, he's maybe even the kind of lad that just needs to feel wanted and given time, and Clarke may now see Hickey as his first choice Right Back, who knows, I suppose time will tell but I'm not convinced that Everton is the right place for him at the moment.
