People said the same about Talbot being a great signing for us, while you could see he was good he just couldn’t get going. Only saving grace may be that Barr already knows the demands of part time football.

Craig Barr *could* be an excellent signing however he’s very injury prone. He’s exactly the sort of player we need at CB though.

I’m sure Cove sold out their hospitality most weeks in the HL, they are clearly marketing it at the likely demand from ‘home’ fans. Away fans going into hospitality must be a very rare occurrence. The number of travelling fans is largely irrelevant.

Good statement from the club as usual. I did used to give Hill a bit of stick but I have matured and calmed down now... I am not sure how much football he has played recently. We could do better.

Because that is what the rules dictate, surely. Why did Aberdeen pay Hamilton a fee for Ferguson when they could have waited a couple of weeks till his contact expires and get him for free? It is a development fee, we are due it if he signs for a club regardless of whether he is under contact or not. In reality NO ONE can sign for another club while under contract at another club,

This is nice, in theory, but the reality is the chances of you getting a fee for Swann are close to zero. I assume he would sign a 1 year deal with you lot and if he was great another club would sign him on a PCA come January. If you were to get cash for him it would be, what, £10k so we would really want at least 50% of any future potential fee to make it worthwhile. I hope we come to an agreement.
