No idea what kind of figures Elgin get for sponsorship but I’d say six figures at this level is pretty massive.

Can only really see us bringing in a centre midfielder and goalkeepers now - assuming Bollan will stick with the 3-5-2 which complimented Allan and Cox at the tail end of last season. GK - 2 required RWB - Mullen LWB - Swann/Valentine CB - Pyper(could fill in RWB)/Barr/Herd (CM too)/Todd CM - Buchanan/Thomas/Miller/Sneddon CF - Cox/Sheerin/Allan/Connelly/Renton Anyone missed? I make that 16 players. No idea what Thomas is like but we look pretty weak middle of the park. Would make Barr captain. Sneddon and Connelly could be loaned out I guess.

Absolutely. That’s not a luxury everyone can afford sadly.

I think it’s a valid enough point. We do seem to have a small local support base and a lot of people spread far and wide that attend anywhere between 5-10 home games a season. It could capitalise on that market but I can’t imagine there is much demand and there isn’t a fortune to be made (club) or saved (fan).

I am well aware of all of this, I know a physio very well that has worked in the lower leagues and now the top flight. I am sure I know much more about it than you so the "more to it than you seem to think" line is garbage. A sports therapist is not a physio so I don't see the correlation. If you were to ask fans of part time clubs who their physio is I doubt many would know or care.

Just curious nothing wrong with that ? Most teams don’t have a clue who their physio is, there’s thousands of them going about clubs will pick them up easy.

No idea about the club, we would probably lose some money, but it would be class to get an out of Scotland team. The only point in the Challenge cup is a decent away day.

If you genuinely believe that league clubs should be allowed to pick and choose what tournaments they enter you are dafter than first appeared. Can they pick and choose fixtures too? Nothing to play for in April so call it a day.
