The best thing about the two Duncan’s is how short it is. Leaves you wanting more and that’s a great thing. Too many ‘good things’ drag the arse out of it but this is pretty perfect. A really funny feature and hopefully there’s a few more lined up.
Craig Beattie talks more sense than just about everyone else I’ve hesrd on this put together. Would hope he will be on more often. Not scared to call people out, knowledgeable and articulate.
That episode was night and day to last week. An hour didn’t feel too long, didn’t feel self indulgent and was all very enjoyable, informative at times and funny. 7 more of that quality and they are on to a real winner.
He also said that all four of Aberdeen's goals v Rangers (in Glasgow I assume he meant) have been set pieces - thus poor goals from Rangers perspective. Pretty far stretched to claim both goals last night were down to set pieces for f**k sake.
Yeah I did. Walked from Tower Bridge (hit all the pubs on the way) then a few ‘near’ the ground. A nice ground as well and not a hint of bother/racism etc.
You’ll struggle to look good after I’ve stamped on your face tbh.
Thought it was good but agree an hour is a long time. Duncan’s feature was brilliant.
While it’s not consistent running after a referee and swearing at him (what I believe happened?) deserves a red card. A warning does nothing in this situation as the player will continue to do it. Happy to see more referees send players off for that kind of abuse.
Some of my favourite bits from the absolute mess that was Sportsound with Boyd and McCann:
Kris Boyd was blaming TV companies for moving kick off times thus allowing fans more time to drink. “They have been drinking all day as it was a 4pm kick off”. Normal kick off times are 3pm Kris. f**k all to do with that TV.
He then went on to compare fans shouting at players to someone shouting at a shop worker which was also a real minter. When a shop worker makes a sale they don’t run off and celebrate Kris.
To top it all off that idiot McCann got absolutely rattled at a valid point made by someone writing in about the way players and managers treat referees. What a mess of a show.
Looking for recommendations to watch now. I’ve the attention span of an easily distracted goldfish though.
Fyre and Abducted in Plain Sight were a good laugh.
Stumbled across Pacific Heat (big fan of Archer) and while it got hammered in the reviews but I really enjoyed it. Nothing like Archer at all in the end - 20 minute episodes help too.
At least parking a car on the pitch won’t ruin it like this cretin with the kettles. The female on some garbage Scottish football podcast made the kettle suggestion as well re the recent Rangers postponement.
