The Jungle Book, (2016), 7/10 The CGI is excellent in this and the film stays perfectly true to the book whilst throwing the occasional nod to the cartoon. There is a terrific ensemble of actors voicing the characters but the standout for me had to be Christopher Walken as The King of the Swingers himself. (there was even time for a little Apocalypse Now Brando reference in his scene which made me chuckle). Edited for spelling.

Absolutely Anything 3/10 Simon Pegg, (playing Simon Pegg), is bestowed with the power to do absolutely anything by some passing aliens as a test of humanities worthiness. What does Pegg do with this power? He makes a dog talk and turns his friend into a sausage. Comedy genius. Avoid at all costs.

Maybe that's what they mean by "what is dead may never die". They have a real problem getting rid of bodies.

Having said that though, I get the impression that an 8 foot purple guy probably isn't the weirdest thing that most people would have seen in that world and even if he was, would you blame them for not pointing it out? It looks like he is generally close to Cersai and just ventures out for a wee bit of brutal retribution so perhaps most people won't have met him yet. The King's guard just look petrified of him.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. 5/10. The score basically just reflects Ben Affleck's Batman who was very good and worth watching. Everything else is bum gravy.
