  1. HAHAHAHA HAHA Pitch invasion and everything. This place is gonna fucking MELT
  2. Those complaining would have much more credibility about them if they actually made an issue of it all the time, not just when Rangers, and to a much lesser extent Celtic won/were winning. Because as it is it just sounds like dummy spitting because the team they don't like won and they had to find some kind of stick to beat them with.
  3. Kilmarnock really are a dirty, cynical team. They're lucky they're not down to ten men already, they really should be.
  4. It's not that when you were greetin about Rangers fans singing about Bobby Sands though is it? But then again that's you lot all over, you can dish it out but can't take it when the shoe is on the other foot.
  5. I wonder how safe it is to build a sandcastle on Ayr beach today?
  6. I get that tbh, but alot of my negativity about this draw is borne out of sheer frustration. As I said, we have coasted through our League Cup group, winning every single game, not conceding a goal and being seeded for this round with the potential for a kind draw to help us progress to the Quarter Finals given the sides we could have faced, yet we are drawn with Hearts, a side who are better than us man for man and our chances of a cup run/win have reduced all the more. As someone who would give anything to see us win silverware again, I want us to get a good cup draw but for the seventh time in a row in this competition in the knockout rounds we are paired with a fellow top flight side. It's fucking maddening.
  7. So Zlamal made a couple of howlers in his time then, okay. We have better goalkeeper options. However it doesn't change the fact that Hearts are a better team than us man for man and will more likely than not knock us out of the cup and that this is an awful draw for us, when you consider the other sides we could have got. It's arguably the second worst draw we could have hoped to get, with the only worse draw being had this tie been at Tynecastle.
  8. Zlamal has looked decent any time I've seen him, the only howler I can remember him making was against Celtic at Murrayfield. He's on a level with Carson and Gillespie imo. Berra may be getting on but he's still a good defender at this level, Souttar is good on his day but prone to a clanger, yes, but the same could be said of Peter Hartley and Charles Dunne, with the former also being highly injury prone. I believe we have picked up an absolute gem in Gallagher, but Hearts edge us in this area thanks to having slightly better options. Jamie Walker is a good player who is proven at this level and Mulraney is also a good attacking option. I like what I've seen from Hylton and Seedorf so far but it's early days and both are still finding their feet. Clare and Harring aren't wingers but they are still good attacking options for a side at this level. As I said Naismith is a quality player and when you've got someone like him who can score goals and link midfield to attack the way he does then you've always got a huge advantage. Hearts are, man for man, a better team than we are and while I respect anyone's right to their own opinion, I can't help think that to disagree on that is to look at it with Claret and Amber spectacles on. Colin Doyle is pretty guff, I'll give you that but I don't think he's played since his howler against us on February. We do have two good options to their one, so perhaps that is an area where we are stronger. No I won't be taking you up on that, I'll be placing my bet online, nearer the time of the game.
  9. Do they have a better keeper? 50/50 in my opinion from what I've seen of that Zlamal. Do they have a better central defender? They have Berra, Soutar and Halkett, that's fairly decent backline options. Do they have better wingers? Well they've re-signed Jamie Walker so I'd argue yes they do. They've also got Mulraney, Clare and Harring. Do they have better forward players who can do more damage than ours can? Undoubtedly, as Steven Naismith even at 33 is still a quality player who would walk into our team and improve it. Same goes for Ikpeazu. Finally, I won't be fucking off anywhere, but thanks for your 'advice' all the same. Kisses xx
  10. Hearts may not be up to much but they still have the players to hurt us and I fully expect them to have re-signed Lafferty by the time this tie comes around. Man for man they are a better side than us and our last two victories over them we have needed two goalkeeping howlers - where they quite literally threw the ball into their own net - for us to get the win. It's not happening on this one, there is no way we are winning this tie. I am absolutely scunnered with our Cup draw record.
  11. That is fair comment AndyRoss and you are correct to say that at this stage of the season it's probably as good a time as any to draw someone like Hearts. It doesn't though stop it being hugely frustrating to see us yet again paired with a fellow top flight side, especially when you consider that we have sailed through our group with a 100% record and conceded no goals and ended up seeded for this round...only to yet again draw another top flight side and one with far greater resources. It just makes you think "what's the point?"
  12. Correct and we made a pig's ear of that one, though drawing the league leaders in he Championship as Premiership strugglers as we were at the time wasnt necessarily a kind draw. However that was the only time out of the last possible six Scottish Cup draws where we have been paired with a side out with the top flight. I would add in the 2018 SCSF against Killie/Aberdeen but there were no lower league sides remaining in the competition at that time.
  13. Appreciate the statistics, but it still doesn't change the fact that we have been absolutely luckless in Cup draws in recent memory with regards to drawing fellow top flight sides. I know it's all about the luck of the draw but when you look at ICT getting to a final whilst getting off with a blatant penalty award in the semis and then playing Falkirk in the final, your own club playing lower league opposition all the way to the semi final?(if I'm wrong on that please feel free to correct me) and going further back, Dundee United playing Raith Rovers in the semi and first Division Ross County in the final...then it really is pretty sickening. We on the other hand draw premiership sides on a regular basis and on the odd occasion we make it to finals we find ourselves up against an all conquering Celtic side.
  14. It's just so fucking frustrating. Since 2016 when the format changed we have been in seven knockout draws for the League Cup and in every single fucking one of them we have drawn a Premiership side. Celtic (A), Ross County (A), Aberdeen (H), Rangers (N), Livingston (A), Hearts (A) and now fucking Hearts again(H). We've not fared much better in the Scottish Cup in that time either. Just what is the chances of that? We get no luck whatsoever in Cups! I am fucking pig sick with that draw.
  15. We didn't draw East Fife, that would involve us actually getting a decent draw in a Cup game against a side from the lower reaches of Scottish football. We drew Hearts at home, our usual Premiership side in a domestic Cup and we absolutely WILL lose to them. I'll be putting my tank on it.
  16. Just f**k the f**k off! If it wasn't for bad luck in Cup draws we would get no fucking luck at all. That's us out.
  17. Correct. Given our luck in Cup draws and getting paired with Premiership sides, especially away from home, it really would be no surprise if we were drawn away to Hearts. Again.
  18. So that's us sailed through the group in the League Cup and are seeded. What's the betting we draw Hearts away in the next round?
  19. Best for all parties that Johnson moves on so good luck to him. Hopefully bags a few derby goals against those Dundee Utd b*****ds.
  20. 742 pages and about 95% of the posters are non Rangers fans. It really IS all about The Rangers. #onlyshowintown #YATP
  21. Pretty happy with the news of the sponsor-less shirts. Providing we don't have a catastrophic season and end up relegated, that away kit will be the type of kit that you keep for years and look back on with fond memories ala the 1994/95 claret kit. It's an absolutely cracking away kit.
  22. One of the biggest positives I took from last night was Hylton and Seedorf on the wings. Both displayed a burst of pace that we've not seen in that department since Chris Humphrey left and *if* both can work on their first touch and end delivery then we will, potentially, have a very decent attacking line this season. Both have managed to find the net so far in the two games so that is a hugely encouraging sign even at this early stage.
