Is Rocco Quinn finished? He was a decent player for St Mirren, but was just never fit last season. Even when he was playing it was clear that injuries and fitness were troubling him and he rarely lasted more than 65 mins. Usually it was him going off that caused our midfield to collapse in the dark times of last season before McGinn signed. If he could ever get fit again he'd be an excellent signing for a team like Dumbarton. He's a much better player than Hutton anyway.

Watched the game tonight with an Ulster fan who was absolutely sick when we won. It was delightful.

I'm going tonight as well, first game of the season for me. I'm worried about the forwards match up as well. I think they are quite strong, so, as always, we need to try and avoid being dragged into a shitfest.

Man, it was quite depressing watching big Leone playing for them last season, looking 2 stone heavier and like he was having far less fun. Would be shite to see Finn playing in a shitfest team.

The players aren't fine. If they were you wouldn't be second bottom of the league and winless. You've lost experienced players and replaced them with dross.

Thing is, someone like Jack Ross is exactly what Falkirk need right now. They have to limp on to January before clearing out the shite and putting together a better squad. Falkirk have some good players, but they don't have a good squad just now, based on what I've seen anyway. They've got no fullbacks, the centre halfs are soft as shite, goalies a bombscare and Kerr looks done, meaning their midfield isn't competitive. Now's the right time to sack Houston anyway, gives the new guy a chance to identify the real wasters and decide what he needs to get the good players performing.

Where does everyone think he's sitting in regards to Scotland now? Behind Maitland, Seymour and probably Visser I'd guess, but I reckon he's above Hoyland now, and definitely ahead of Hughes.
