  1. It doesn't matter what time they kick off what matters is how Dunbar do. Management and players have known for weeks we have required a win, we haven't been able to do it,so here we are, last game ,winner will stay in the Premier can we do it, I hope so.
  2. Not really. What I've seen in the past few months has not filled me with confidence that we will get the result required although, I hope we do. But we are where we are. Tynecastle and LTHV must be favourites to get the results they need, they have done well. I still think that 5 teams will go down so what the manager has said for weeks is that a win will probably be enough to save us,we'll this is their last chance
  3. Dunbar can only think of winning against Tynecastle. I think LTHV will beat Nitten so only a win will do. The manager has said for weeks we just need another win,we'll here it is,last game, win or be relegated. No permutations required, only a win will do.
  4. Back to the Premier league. DB deserved their win today. First half Dunbar were a shambles and at 2-0 down, left themselves too much to do. A much improved 2nd half by Dunbar but we can't buy a clean sheet and don't look like scoring. No excuses,it was 11v11 and we are just not at it. Squeaky bum time indeed.
  5. St Cuthbert Wanderers are licensed. Whole thing is a shambles. Pyramid my arse. A round Robin, 3 league winners only one gets promoted,4 or 5 teams going down from the Premier depending if Tranent win or not ,Bonnyrigg playing Fraserburgh with the winners playing Cowdenbeath,so possibly another 2 league winners not getting promoted to a team who finish bottom, some teams will be gutted.
  6. Unfortunately almost every club has over enthusiastic supporters ourselves included but it shouldn't be held against the club. I never seen nor heard any out of order comments from anyone and hope that Blackburn and ourselves stay up.
  7. It wasn't a classic 4 goals a point a piece and results going our way elsewhere. Blackburn were the better team imo but we seem to have a lack of players available so it could turn out to be a valuable point .
  8. Dunbar v Blackburn on Saturday is a must not lose game for both clubs. Games are running out to pick up the points required to remain in this league. Am I correct in thinking Dunbar have failed to keep a clean sheet in 30 league games,if true, its astonishing, so with that kind of stat, we look like we will need goals to take anything from this game. If wrong I apologise. It gets harder to win games when you need the points but with 3 of our last 4 at home,it is in our own hands. We have just picked up 4pts from 3 difficult away games and we just need to take it a game at a time,3 points on Saturday would help us massively but Blackburn are in the same position of needing points and have picked up good away wins recently so this could be some game with goals. Come on Dunbar let's go for it.
  9. Yes agree. I have no idea how it happened but we will take it. 2-0 down 10 mins to go and Lithgy chucked it. Credit to Dunbar . A great 3 points doesn't matter how we played, all about getting points.
  10. We are entering a team. Big step up for the boys currently playing under 18s.
  11. Both teams have been poor in recent weeks more so us, aside from the win at Stoneyburn. No one can really afford to lose for different reasons but if we turn up and they are as bad as their supporters are saying, then we have a chance. If we play as bad as we have been we won't. Games against Lithgy are what you want to play in and if the manager gets his team up for it,we might just have a chance. Good luck Dunbar.
  12. If we lose and Blackburn win we are in trouble. A massive game for us. Games in hand are only good if you win them.
  13. To continue blaming Geoff is ridiculous. When any manager takes a job the players become his or hers. If Kevin thought he needed to change he has had plenty of time to do so,the fact he hasn't or he has tried and it hasn't worked, and has signed a few of the same players for next season either shows he thinks they are good enough or like Geoff is finding it hard to attract players to Dunbar. Whatever,we are in the relegation dogfight and we all need to get behind the manager and players for these last few games.
  14. He is at Dunbar as one of five or 6 coaches the club appear to have. We are mince at the moment very poor to watch and we could defo get dragged in to the relegation spots playing like this. We don't look like scoring despite Thomson coming in. Going to be difficult end of season for us but other clubs are in same kind of form.
  15. A great result for Blackburn and gives them a chance but any two from 8th to 15th could go down along with the bottom three who I think will . I expect us to drop down a place when HOB play Sauchie but with all the teams due to play each other ,it's going to be a nail-biting finish but it's as ridiculous the amount of teams going down as much as winning the league doesn't get you promoted.
  16. I didn't think so but on the club website it says he is part of the backroom team.
  17. Something wrong with HOBgoal difference according to what's shown .
  18. Irate, I'm asking a question on why we have coaches in place yet feel the need to bring in someone just cos the manager is isolating. Hardly Irate.
  19. Yes ,I think it is a bit early for him to finish but it's his decision. He will be back. What are we doing asking the guy Small to help out. Surely Andy and JJ can handle things whilst the manager isolates.
  20. Lithgy look the the team on fire at the moment, although they had a snow machine to bail them out at us recently. Seriously they looked good when we played them recently , I fancy them to win this league.
  21. A good result for Dunbar although Sauchie only have themselves to blame for going away pointless. They had plenty of chances but their finishing was very poor We weren't at our best but it's a big 3 points.
