  1. Even worse when it's a shot of the manager, just standing with his hands in his pockets or a notable in the crowd. I'm also irritated by the use of super slo mo. This would be great for watching tricks or controversial foul/ dive calls but seems to only get used for facial expressions of the most famous players.
  2. Might advertising be restrictrd because it clashes with a sky game?
  3. Feels like a heavy defeat incoming for some reason. No real logic behind that, maybe that we beat them earlier so might be a bit blase. Mainly just a feeling of impending doom. 0-3
  4. It would breach human rights law and is incompatible with International treaties. So the obvious solution will be to repeal human rights law and f**k the treaties?
  5. If you smear some cooking oil around the inside of the bin before you put them in it will come out no problem.
  6. Some recent posts were. I didn't reply to those though, i replied to yours where you suggested that people must be ill-informed if they had a different view from yours.
  7. Or they know their stuff and have come to a different conclusion about national identity? Here's Tom Holland's view https://www.newstatesman.com/uncategorized/2014/07/tom-holland-our-island-story-what-england-and-scotland-share-politically-and
  8. What you have described there is nothing like a banning. You have described something going out of fashion and becoming anachronistic. Dr Seuss, like enid blyton, is also utter shite so they're no great loss. I get that that's no defence for banning them but felt it needed saying.
  9. The correlation seems robust but i think the causality is reversed.
  10. Never knew licence plate was an Americanism. Boy, am i pissed.
  11. Jism doesn't require a hierarchy. Just needs some genitals and a sympathetic touch.
  12. Longstaff or JET? Off the top of my head Bryson that guy Greg something-(did well at Dundee and Kilmarnock, bench warmer at Rangers? My memory appears to be failing) were much bigger disappointments
  13. It's more interesting than anything I've done.
  14. Brian May made his own guitar from a fireplace, banged a household name actress and is a well respected astrophysicist. That's pretty interesting.
  15. Just watching the highlights. 2 observations. Jack Gurr looks like a kid who won a contest to get a game. Celtic have a hollow centre circle and hollow penalty spots, the disco lighted deviants.
  16. Genuinely took me a couple of minutes to remember who "Kennedy" was.
  17. Ramirez was entitled to go for that ball. Hart got there first and it was a foul. The rest was attention seeking from a fanny. Bates didn't kick Abada but he "made sure there was contact" . I'm usually annoyed when we concede those ones but i guess you guys aren't so used to it.
  18. Celtic commentators sound like they might post on here.
  19. The thing is though, the WTO/ World Bank try to remove the impact of borders on transfer of goods into poor countries while removing capital controls, under free market ideology. The free movement of labour is part of a free market. Without it welfare gains accrue to some countries and losses to others: no catch up or convergence or trickle down. The right is ideologically inconsistent, some might say hypocritcal, here.
  20. We're already past Skynet becoming self aware, finding a multidimensional monolith on the other side of Jupiter, the Running Man and Bladerunner. Demolition man is set in 11 years time but the big one that led to the new society is already 11 years late. Sci fi /dystopia things that have happened : The permanent war The culture's terminals Videocalls
  21. Of course it won't happen. But it's the baddies PR trying to convince us they want good things for us.
  22. "One by one all these things became free, so it ended up not making sense for us to own much. First communication became digitized and free to everyone. Then, when clean energy became free, things started to move quickly. Transportation dropped dramatically in price" Reading- an underappreciated skill. To be clear- i don't believe this is what our Davos ovelords want.
