Maybe rose-tinted glasses but, when he was fit enough to play last time round, did he not actually look... not bad? Certainly more of a football brain and idea of link-up play than anyone else we were trying to play with Van Veen. Probably a moot point though as he's unlikely to be here next season to link up with.

Yes they're in form, but Tiffany, Graham and Lawless. This is why you really shouldn't be worried if you end up playing them. -

Yeah, I went to the Queen's Park game last week with a Thistle supporting friend who pointed out there's a lot made of the Championship teams playing a lot of games in the run in. In reality, both the Premiership and Championship are playing weekly games with one midweek game thrown in. And it's not as if the Premiership teams are playing dead rubbers. -
Well, we're being given the chance to give our opinion. Email I received today (edited to delete the link): Conference League - your views Good afternoon, As you may be aware, in June all 42 SPFL member clubs will be asked to vote on a proposal put forward by the Pyramid Working Group to create a new Conference League at tier 5 within the Scottish football pyramid. Should this proposal be implemented, tier 5 of the pyramid would see the Highland and Lowland Leagues replaced by the new Conference League, which would be a division of 10 teams. This would include 4 B teams, the top 4 teams from the Lowland League and top 2 from the Highland League from the end of next season. B teams will not be eligible for either promotion or relegation from the new Conference League. Clubs that enter B teams will be required to pay a fee to enter which will, in turn, make up prize money for the new division. The highest non-B team goes into a play-off with the bottom of League 2 and the lowest non-B team will be relegated to Lowland / Highland. B teams must have 11 Scottish players in their matchday squad and 7 Scottish players in their starting 11. Motherwell FC will not be entering a B team. Any Well Society member who wishes to share their views regarding the proposed new Conference League, positive or negative, should give their views by clicking the button below. Please let us know whether you are FOR or AGAINST the proposal, and your reasons behind this stance by noon on Friday 26 May. Your responses will not be published, but they will feed into the discussions which will help inform the Well Society’s position. This will, in turn, be taken into account by the Executive Board along with information from the SPFL. Kind regards, The Well Society Board

So, genuinely a case of them wanting it more? Maybe Celtic have had the right approach all along . -
When I first saw him in that Hibs game it was obvious he could be box office when in the mood and he had a certain air of unpredictability about him. What I would have predicted though is that he would have picked up regular red cards and I'm amazed that he hasn't. For all the daft bookings he's picked up, he seems to know how to just stop short of a second yellow.

Nah, they play Motherwell at home next midweek who will have equally downed tools by then. If they're going to win a game, it'll be that one. -

OAM an absolute nonsense there. Announced VAR check at Tannadice, ball looks as though it hit defender's hand, yes it's a penalty. At no point did they say who the penalty was potentially for until they said McGrath was going to take it. Even then you had to know who he played for. -
There used to be a big away car park like you describe where the training pitch is now but that was probably a long time ago. When I go, I normally park in the housing to the south of Crieff Road- you can make your way through to Broxden Roundabout when you leave without having to go onto Crieff Road. I'm sure one of the friendly St. Johnstone fans can suggest something better though.

I've just remembered about this competition. I know it hasn't finished but am pretty sure I've done spectularly badly. Anyone think they're in the running?
