I'd probably take that now.

And as I said, Motherwell were fined multiple times for it and escaped the other two sanctions entirely because they spent a fortune on it each Summer and allowed the authorities full access to the work being done.
You're not going to escape punishment if nothing is seriously done this Summer to resolve it, and do you think your owners are spending £500k+ on the pitch at this stage?
Were we? I have absolutely no recollection of Motherwell being fined for postponed games. Our pitch was in a dreadful state and we did what we could to sort it but realistically the only time to have a meaningful go at fixing it is in the summer (which we did). If Dundee have similar problems next season then fair enough, hammer then with fines.
Anyway, we don't normally have this number of pages unless we're playing St. Mirren, let's see tomorrow if there's actually anything to even worry about.

I remember we paid a huge fees for Wishart and Stickroth (among others) and both failed to make any significant and consistent impact at our club.
I remember Dundee United offered us considerably more for Wishart but he chose to go to St Mirren (much to our consternation) as he was a supporter. I've got a memory of £400k v £285k being reported.

You may soon discover a new low...lose the next couple of games and you could be sucked into that relegation play-off spot.
That's not a new low - we were in the play-off in 2015 but it led to two of the best football experiences I (or wider Scottish football) have witnessed. Not keen to go through it again though and fortunately there were some right huddies in 12th that season to spare us straight relegation

Why are Morton and Hamilton so disliked? They're both very low profile championship-level clubs. I couldn't think of many clubs less offensive than those 2.
I'm going to hazard a guess at the words Dougie and Imrie.

IFAB currently discussing this.
It won't take away any controversy in VAR decisions, just change the rules the technology measures to. Don't see the point to be honest.

I actually thought Hearts would be a step too high for him and Aberdeen or Hibs would be more likely from a wage point of view.

I would love to see, for example, Motherwell beating St Mirren 2-0 and then St Mirren to have had a bad VAR call go against them and for Motherwell to come out and protest the decision after the game like this on St Mirrens behalf. I think if something like that happened it would really start to see talk about change however I doubt that would ever happen.
I'd love to see that scenario too but can you imagine how many pages the match thread would run to?
In all seriousness, I get the points you make and the team names are interchangeable. It's already happened on a few occasions this seasons with managers pointing but there always seems to be another incident which the manager wants to concentrate on moaning about.

Could Alex Neill see it as a stepping stone to his dream move to Ibrox?

I'm amazed it took so long. I suppose it was overnight.

Apparently it used to be all the rage for pilots to be up all night with the stewardesses and a bag of coke.
Hardly any crashes, so clearly it's fine. Probably say they drink better when blitzed.
Surely you've seen Airplane? It's amazing what those autopilots can do.

Can remember listening to a program on Radio Scotland about wills about 10 year a go As far as i can remember it would not be legal to do what your gran did. If i remembered right and it is a big "IF" your mum would be entitled to a quarter of a quarter of her estate. It said the Scottish Gov. had plans to tighten it up even more. If anybody is in the same situation better get some legal advice
I'm surprised at that. I thought you could write your will any way you wanted.

One of those days. I didn't think either team played particularly well but Aberdeen took their goal well. Aberdeen had more threat in the first half and I thought we carried we looked more dangerous in the second but the subs weakened us and Aberdeen saw out the game comfortably enough in the end.
I thought all of our better players looked a bit off it today, perhaps a bit rusty after a two week break so hopefully we can sort that out with another break coming.
Miller's 'goal' was the far end from me so I had no idea how it made it into the net never mind if there was a handball. There's no way the alleged handball against Shinnie which was right in front of me at the end should have been given as a penalty but I reserve the right to change if we had a goal chopped off for a similar non-handball.
Ah well, back to worrying about the play-off place. At least straight relegation looks pretty much off the table.

It will be good enough to win, I'd imagine.
Everyone seems to think their team will lose. So, stick-on draw and everyone's wrong?

No, don't sound the St Mirren klaxon.

I still think it's very unlikely we'll be sixth and it only takes a few weeks of things going against you and we're nervous again...
That said, there's no doubt this weekend is a huge chance. St Johnstone are likely to lose in Glasgow so win and we have such a gap to those below I'd be confident of not being worse than eighth.
And I'd have given huge odds on that status just a few weeks ago!
Winning on Saturday would mean 3 wins in a row. As you say, you'd have got huge odds on that a few weeks ago.

Try telling youngsters about it and they won't believe you!
I hadn't realised it Wayne Foster's penalty that he saved - couldn't have happened to a more deserving fellow.
I had a memory of being at a game where the ref took exception to a double-sub happening without his permission and booked all four players but hadn't realised it was this one - proper pedantic refereeing and nothing says old school like Cammy Duncan being physically lifted off the park and up the tunnel.

Is this going to turn into a selection of Clark and Kelly howlers? I think the only outcome is we'll see neither of them should be anywhere near the international team (but there are few alternatives for the squad).

Take it back to the old days when you had 2 outfield subs and no replacement goalie. Gunn plus 22 outfielders.
13 man matchday squad and if the keeper gets injured an outfield player takes his jersey and goes in instead. Stevie Kirk done it at Tynecastle and even saved a penalty. It all adds to the drama and excitement. Scrub this 5 subs pish and make football great again.
I was there. Horrible challenge early on by Wayne Foster on Cammy Duncan and we came back from two down to draw. Jamie Dolan against Celtic was more recent but it's changed days.

I'm away for the weekend and catching up to find we're on page 44 and we've won at Dens Park without Craig Tanner scoring.
