  1. That could really test fan fickleness but I'm at the point where I'm willing to give anything a go.
  2. Yeah, that had me thinking "Have I missed something here" before realising that Tam was just being thick and neither of them realised the game had already been played. Never mind petty and ill-informed, this was completely uninformed.
  3. Kelly never catches crosses at corners but by my reckoning he caught 4 today. Most unlike him.
  4. Did Carson not save from McKinstry in the final minutes? BBC has 2 shots on target each so those two, the goal and the free kick that Kelly saved easily. I thought it was a pretty even game and a draw would have been fair but we're losing too many soft goals and even games because of it. I saw Dunne being applauded but was amazed at the abuse being shouted at Carson when he was getting treatment. There really are some absolute roasters in our support.
  5. I was just coming on to say the same thing. What is the point in VAR when it doesn't pick up something as clear as that?
  6. I've no idea what he looks like now but I can't help think Higdon would be one of those players that becomes the size of a house once he stops playing/training.
  7. I thought Wishart went to St. Mirren because he's a fan. United actually offered us a good bit more money but he turned them down. Trevor Carson was released after his contract run out and went to United. We paid a decent fee for Brian Martin from what I remember but the St. Mirren fans thought they were robbed.
  8. I stood on the terracing along the pitch and found it strange compared to my normal watching experience up the back of the Cooper. We were so close to the pitch you could just about hear the cogs in Callum Slattery's brain turning as he looked at the Arbroath player on the touchline at the halfway line, looked around, thought there's no danger and then thought "ah f*** it, I'll do him anyway". Cue one Arbroath player in a crumpled heap and one needless booking for Slattery.
  9. It's almost as though he's wanting him to resign so he can save on the compensation. Not quite constructive dismissal but certainly a first step on the path towards it.
  10. Kudos for playing the Muppets theme. Forget Thunderstruck or anything like that, I'd love them (or any team, to be fair) to run out to that.
  11. The Facebook post is a bit creepy ( as a few have noted) but showing his reg plate isn't really on.
  12. He's doing a good job of containing his excitement. Probably realising he hasn't brought enough warm clothes. There's never enough warm clothes. He's just arrived from summer in Australia so I fully expect to see him with gloves and tights on at Paisley.
  13. 2-0 to Raith now. Get your buckets and spades out, Kirkcaldy here we come!
  14. At least Aberdeen fans will have those few seconds when they we wake up this morning before remembering it and then realising it wasn't just a nightmare.
  15. We managed to get to the semi-final against Celtic in 1985 when we were in the old first division. A run like that would be nice.
  16. That must be some bus journey for those travelling back to Aberdeen. I can see Goodwin getting left at Stirling services though.
  17. We really are overdue an away tie at Ayr in the cup. Maybe this year?
  18. There's definitely an element of that but even trips to places like Kilmarnock manage to attract a big turn-out. On grounds visited, I think I'm on 33 (depending on where we take Queen's Park's ground as). Mostly new clubs/grounds but notable exceptions are County and Queen of the South. I don't really do friendlies but picked up Cliftonhill in a pre-season Lanarkshire Cup game when Jordi Cruyff was sitting up the back of the stand (watching his pal Martinez).
  19. I was given a bottle of Loch Lomond 10 year old Apple, Vanilla and Oak as a Christmas present which I'm finding to be very nice (much nicer than other bottles I've tried from them) and I saw it at the weekend in my local Asda for the bargain price of £25.
