Auchinleck Talbot 2-0 Glenafton Athletic - Repeat of the league cup outcome, Talbot to be too strong and to keep a clean sheet. Benburb 2-1 Kirkintilloch Rob Roy - Rob Roy to face first real test and Benburb still on a high from last season. Clydebank 2-1 Kilwinning Rangers Cumnock Juniors 3-1 Rossvale - Rossvale not looked great albeit in friendlies and league cup, Cumnock seem to be free scoring at the moment Hurlford United 2-0 Troon - Irvine Meadow XI 1-1 Largs Thistle Pollok 3-0 Beith Juniors - Pollok scoring for fun, strong line up expected and a positive start as I think they will run Talbot very close this season. Rutherglen Glencairn 2-2 Kilbirnie Ladeside - Cant read into the friendly result between the teams, close game. Just my predictions of course, will probably end up nothing like this!

I understand but officially there must be around 6 leagues of a difference? Where are you getting 6 leagues from?! I would have it as 2 and a half! The West Premier is stronger than the majority of the Lowland league teams. Albeit ...... a fantastic result, i suppose biggest shock could be confirmed by who was the biggest price at the bookies, from memory Talbot were 20/1, that takes some beating!

Did Anson even play for Pollok? Couldn’t of been anymore than a handful of games? Saying that I think this is an excellent signing for Peasy, will score a good few in that league!

Decent bit of business by Kilsyth. 2 good signings. Looked strong in stages last season will obviously miss big striker.

Why surprised? Boylan would be a perfect fit for Talbot, big, fast and strong, would imagine Tucker would have him working extremely hard you would imagine.

Fantastic from Talbot. Just machines when it comes to big games. Been at the last two and I thought Hamilton was better atmosphere than an empty rugby park. However would much rather see everyone crammed into a junior venue!! (Health and safety would have a field day!). On the park thought S.Wilson was excellent, does all the dirty work and running that many don’t notice - great player

Fantastic player with a trophy cabinet not many will be able to match! Saw him on numerous occasions for Pollok and probably safe to say they didn’t see the best of him. Could of easily played in the Championship for another few seasons.

Yeah I mean I have them probably with the exact same chances! Month ago I had counted (wrongly) Rossvale as being up!

The more the games go on I think Frew might just beat the drop. They have won big points in important games so deserve it! Troon seem very inconsistent but based on there fixtures they will get the points for safety! KRR have the same 3/4 quality players from last few seasons however from what I have seen the others aren’t good enough and I don’t think they will make it!

I have it now as a straight sprint between Rossvale/Cumbernauld/Arthurlie. I have seen Rossvale a few times this season and they have looked fantastic but I believe it’s out there hands if Cumbernauld remain there winning game.... which would surprise me as there far too inconsistent! Momentum with Arthurlie, if there was an extra 4/5 games I think they would of knicked it.

First Morton game for many a year - and I enjoyed it!! Massive win tonight in terms of play off spot. Have to say it was a pretty scrappy game but one we certainly had the upper hand in, would of been bitterly disappointed if we hadn't broke the deadlock!
