  2. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/7788669.stm Young daft laddy thought he was untouchable. An absolute model Pro in his time at Livi and he'll be a fantastic signing for Morton
  3. He looks a tad heavy for a footballer...one of the pictures I've seen gave me flashbacks to Lee Matthews [emoji51]
  4. James Penrice signs on a shree year deal....happy with that
  5. Ex Staggie Andrew Barrowman is head of operations for Joma UK I believe. He seems to be snapping up a few sides. Livi, Hibs, County all announced recently
  6. Watching some of his highlights from this season he looks to have turned himself into a cracking finisher
  7. Can play at CB plus I see him fitting our style better than SAL or Poplatnik. Hamilton, Anderson and Toddy would be a great trio to select from
  8. Wouldn't mind that at all...big guy is a bit of a cult hero at Livi and looks to have developed into a cracking player
  9. Spat the dummy after being subbed off against rangers. Apparently his agent had been in his ear telling him guys were earning 3 times what he was...the guys he used as examples were on less! He's a nuisance of a player and would 100% fit Raith. Disappointed at how it's all ended for him.
  10. Loved that he had a good look to examine his find when he eventually hauled it out
  11. The standard arguments against are: Inconsistent bounce: grass pitches are renowned for being perfect every time More injuries: a rangers player once got an injury on one so that means they're death traps Looks bad: grass pitches always look perfect every time It's tin pot: none of the other big leagues have them and certainly not the champions League [emoji51] Pellets get everywhere and kick up when the ball is played: grass pitches don't contain any substance that would make a player dirty or splash when something is bounced on it Never see a good game on plastic: every supporter of every team watches every game on plastic and it just doesn't compare to the fact that every single game played on grass is an absolute belter As you can see...iron clad arguments. Surprised we haven't had to rip it up already tbh
  12. Is it still Ross Millen? He'll likely have been signed because his dad Andy is/was a coach at Killie. He was hopeless in lower leagues with Livi too
  13. He's decent, can play CB but probably at his best at LB. Has a decent delivery on him and a reasonable turn of pace. Fell behind Serrano, Brown and Longridge this season. He won't do much fancy but he'll do the simple things pretty well. Lethal from 2 yards too [emoji23]
  14. VVV I'm sure Rooney said as much in his post match interview The people's champion
  15. Rooney is a cracking player and on his day is unplayable...but he looks so much like a guy i used to work with who was a p***k and I can't look beyond that.
  16. I would imagine a fair few of them would have declined their season ticket and paid per game. In the current climate, people are losing jobs and money is tight. Nobody knew when fans would get back in so promising them x amount of games in the stadium as Motherwell etc have done wasn't seen as feasible. If a rangers fan didn't renew their ticket then they'd lose their seat as there are plenty of others who would take it, that wouldn't happen at Livi. We have circa 1000 season ticket holders. Rubbing them the wrong way is not an option and I feel the pricing has rewarded their loyalty. I get that a rangers fan might not understand it as it's a totally different scenario. Look at Motherwell this season offering all this year's season ticket holders a free one for next season to repay loyalty...a fantastic gesture but something that, i'd imagine, is going to impact their finances incredibly. The latest episode of the Talk Livi podcast has the club secretary on talking about the pricing amongst other things, give it a listen.
  17. Dont know how many times it needs to be mentioned that the Livi pricing was to protect the value of season tickets.
  18. News to me...thought the likes of Celtic were interested earlier in the year.
  19. Said who? It's certainly more difficult to sign foreign players but it's still an option
  20. Yeah, announced a three year deal last night. Aberdeen were due a fee for him and we were due a fee for Jet so I believe they cancelled each other out
  21. I've heard through a mutual friend that one of the top scouts for Everton is a personal friend of Martindale....potentially that's one of the premier league sides Davie mentioned about working with.
  22. A fully fit Keahan is something we've really missed at times this season. Sounds like Martindale sees Ayo as a DM and potential replacement for Marv, plus if we get the Diani deal done then I'd say we're looking good in that position.
