I get the impression the club don't want Europe next season...the complete change in us since it became a possibility is frightening. 11 guys out there that look incapable of a forward pass
I reckon Keaghs suits the way we played better. Holt joining has possibly been one of the reasons we've become slower and more possession based to play to his strengths of dictating play and marshalling the midfield. Personally, I'd rather we got back to the hell for leather approach that brought us so much success plus Keaghs can shoot [emoji23]
Yeah, think Keaghs was at fault for at least one of their goals. In fairness, bad performances from him are so rare...think we've really missed his energy this season
I'm wondering if maybe Sal will be released an rejoin Queens Park. Would like to see us keep Tiffoney and Jet from that list but sounds like Jet is away
I noticed none of Robinson's goals were on the list. His goals v Killie and Ross County would probably have been on it of he hadn't spat the dummy I reckon.
stories of Aberdeen chasing Jet. I'm sure he's out of contract but I remember reading Davie saying if Jet goes to a side in Scotland or England we'd be due a fee?
I agree we should be looking to ditch the 4-2-3-1 but I'd be tempted to go more 3-5-2.
Stryjek
Efe - Fitzwater - Guthrie
McMillan - Sibbald - Bartley - Pittman - Longridge
Kabia - Jet
Use our wingbacks to keep Rooney etc pushed back
Maybe the concern is Guthrie hasn't been at his best when captain...maybe the added responsibility doesn't suit him and letting Devlin, who would make a good captain, take over will let Jon concentrate on what he does best
This is the reason I think we should be giving Tiffoney another year at least. He held his own as a loan striker at times this season for us...but his finishing was perhaps not where we needed it....put him alongside Hamilton and you've got that Miller-Hardie partnership again
Yeah, we certainly don't have the personnel atm for the back 3. The rumour of Montano signing points to a potential WB role. Would also allow Mullin to play more centrally behind a striker where he shone previously.
I'm wondering if the back 3 was down to Davie and the 4-2-3-1 was Holt's input. We played the back 3 so well with Gallagher, Halkett and Lithgow and it would allow Devlin and Jacko to get forward more
