I think thats it, some people forget that footballers are actually people with normal issues that affect and influence people. Rather than simply stats on a page.

Not that i think Mcburnie is a great player, but hes near the top of the championships topscorers, with one of the best minutes per goals ratios. Funnily enough only Stewart ahead of him in that regard. So not bad for a big lump. If mcburnie played for celtic or rangers I think he would be scoring regularly. Its a player by player basis, some who look good here go down south and do badly. And some like Stewart who did ok here, go down and thrive. The only way to really get an idea of where a hearts or hibs would finish is actually seeing them in that league.

Theres not been a squad since he's been involved in Liverpool's first team. If there was a squad announcement next wk I'd be amazed if he wasn't called up. If he continues progressing the way he is and getting more game time he might well walk into our first 11.

If you don't want to read people discussing Scotland players, there's a simple solution. Rather than asking people to stop giving their opinions. You could simply stop reading the threads on the tartan army forums. Its very very likely that is exactly what they will be about.

Overall I dont think that's true, even in their run to the champions league final (which he was suspended for) which he was absolutely excellent. It was acknowledged by everyone else, alot of and id say most man u fans couldn't wait to get rid of him. Wether thats an anti Scottish bias I dont know, but I cant help thinking it is. And also that McTominay wouldn't receive nearly as much criticism if he were English (or playing for england).

From what I remember and from man u fans I knew at the time, id say Fletcher wasnt a particularly popular player. Despite in my opinion being excellent. For a period he was one of the best defensive midfielders around. Unfortunately I dont think McTominay is even close to the player that Fletcher was.

Mckenna was back in the forrest team today and apparently played well. Hanley is playing every game for Norwich, admittedly I've not seen any of his games but he must be doing ok. Porteous is playing every wk also. For me our best performer at centre back recently has been Jack Hendry, i dont think he's been playing much at all tho. I liked the Mckenna Hendry partnership, I think its the best we have. But with Hendry out of the team at club level I agree tho that none of our centre back options are exactly anything to boast about. We could do with a couple of young guys coming thru who look like they could go to a higher level.

Don't know But certain players can adapt to other positions. I would expect him to be able to do it well. I think if Clarke was going to play them both down the left Robertson would be the further forward. As he did against Turkey. Which I would like to see again.

I dont know the guy your talking about, but I just read a few of the player ratings reviews. And it doesn't sound like he impressed any of them either unfortunately. But I never watched the game myself.
