Or maybe the leaks are coming from else where… you know the leaks which started occurring more and more from midway through the summer transfer window… -

Maybe they actually know a lot more about the inner workings of the club…. It’s not a coincidence that the guys closest to the club all want to point the blame at 2 people (3 if you include our departed chief exec) and away from the manager - it’s almost like there is a theme. -

Not very often I’ll agree with you but this time I do. We have basically gave a right footed Liam Craig a contract with the added downside that he’s not happy in the tackle -

Thought a draw would have been fair, as don’t think either team deserved to win. It’s impressive we managed to only concede 1 with a free kick dummy in goal. Thought Butterfield, Ciftci and McCart were poor. Thought Sang look lost when we changed early doors from a 3 to a 4. Crawford had a good game. Hendry was good until 60 minutes and tired/got kicked all over the pitch. Thought ref wasn’t bad part from 1 really bad tackle from Bassey which he ignored on Butterfield. But expecting them to get 4 penalties and 2 reds for us and it not happening was a surprise after them crying all week. -

Other thing I would say about today - I was really disappointed in hearts. Especially how bad they were defensively (most noticeable at corners) for a team their size they seemed to look lost defending a cross -

The big difference between the 2 circumstances is when zander was breaking through we had enckleman and mannus and most teams only carried 2 goalies. Now most teams have 3 in the first team pool -

His hands and positional has always been outstanding. Until recently the biggest worry for me about him was he wasn’t filling out and was more lanky than big. But after speaking to him at Kelty you can tell he’s been on the weights and doing the right stuff in the gym. He will be a top goalie and the next one to make us money -

Most complete we have looked all season. Sang and Davidson the stand outs for me, although special mention to Middleton who looks like he wants to be there and put the work in. Gallagher played well although looked better second half when he’s on the touch line side. Im not sure what to make of Cleary sometimes looks a good defender who loves to step out. Sometimes looks like Efe at his worst -

Good to know your judgement of players is as bad as it appears. Sinclair will be our number 1 next year (unless zander stays) he is a far better keeper in all aspects. Parrish fills me with fear every time he plays -
Aberdeen 1 (dodgy penalty) St Johnstone 1
NYD1997 replied to Suspect Device's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
We have had a penalty that’s not a penalty tonight, and the handball goal which gave you 3 in Perth. The penalty last week against St mirren Hallberg sending off against utd (which was soft to be very generous) 2 pens away to hibs in 2 separate games which weren’t plus a sending off of Bryson at home which wasn’t. That’s 8 (10 if you say we go on to win) and that’s not including dodgy decisions against st mirren at home and anything against the bigots -

Just seen the penalty - it should be called what it is - contact outside the box and a dive by the boy wonder in the box. If the refs got the big calls right for saints we’d be sitting 8th above Dundee county hibs and Aberdeen - that’s the biggest issue right now is every big decision goes against us. -

It’s almost like I know him and know what sort of players he desires…. Also almost as if I know that he spends more time at McD on a Saturday than looking at other players and is a big advocate of highlight packages -

It’s almost like we have a head of recruitment who spends more time watching our own games than doing his job -

How many points is it that refs have cost us this season? Total shambles. We would be safe if we had semi competent refs instead of the west coast half wits we get -
St Johnstone vs Dundee United - 5 February 2022
NYD1997 replied to Widge's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Thought saints were the better team and if we had nicked it I’m not sure any Utd fan could complain. Courts’ subs at half time cost them - our game plan was to stop levitt - if he was still on the field when we were down to 10 it could’ve been different. Our subs didn’t help us either especially McPherson, who excluding one nutmeg was brutal. Hendry and May looked like they worked well together. All in all good performance for us -

Winner stays on.... St Johnstone v Dundee
NYD1997 replied to johnnydun's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Big takeaway last night was how bad the pitch was especially at the ormond stand. It cost us the Hendry goal as it got stuck under his feet plus it didn’t help when Kane broke away because the ball was bobbling down the pitch. Hendry did look hungry in a good way last night and looked a different player to when we last seen him against Arbroath. McPherson on the other hand isn’t even a jersey filler -

But it’s never been to this level about us - we were always very quiet about our business but now it’s out for everyone to see - Forrest, Deas, Rudden, the Swedish guy ex hibs? (Forgot his name) that’s just 4 we have looked at plus now Kirby -

For me there is more and more journalists knowing our transfer business and who we are looking at - in the past it was really only Nicholson and Thomson - now Matty Gallagher Scott burns etc are all in on it - fair enough Matt is new on it but the rest seem to be dipping in -

But we have this superstar head of recruitment who can do no wrong in some peoples eyes…. Yet his first signing was a guy who most likely won’t play for us again as he doesn’t suit our style of play (rightly or wrongly). Also there has been far more transfer leaks coming out of the club since July than ever have before -
What a team. This is a team who don’t know how to give up. Running the ball and our less shit special teams won us that! Hoping Deebo, Williams and Kittle are ok for next week
-
YAAAAASSSS first time our special teams is pulling us through

How Green Bay aren’t out of sight is beyond me. Kyle now not panicking is the main thing and see if we can get the ball in the end zone somehow
