  1. Ayr are relying on the regular cup tie against Dunfermline to save our club from liquidation. Seriously though, I will miss EEP next season. Had some decent games there in the last two seasons. Hope we get back there soon. This will be my favourite !!
  2. It does bring a bit of drama and will make the title race a lot more intense. Two clubs that are chasing the title because the long term future of their clubs is at stake. I might no be good for my heart but I'm looking forward to this.
  3. If you'd gone part time I wouldn't have been surprised to see a repeat of what happened to Cowdenbeath. A rapid decline to the depths of Scottish football. I've mixed feelings now about Raith going FT. On one hand it'll make for a much more exciting league with 3 FT teams and a challenging Alloa if they don't go up. However it also means there is no margin for error here. We've just went all in and if we don't go up (playoffs as a minimum) we could be in hot water.
  4. Unfortunately McCall is a midget in real life. Should've gave him a cushion to sit on for the interview.
  5. Just realised the link doesn't work Here's the quote from Twitter "It has been confirmed that Ayr United will go full time for season 2017-18 (and with plans for the future). Detailed interviews with manager Ian McCall and Commercial Manager Graeme Miller look at what this means for The Honest Men both on and off the park."
  6. https://www.youtube.com/embed/QxIcAxQTgQ0 Have a swatch at this big fella.
  7. Hit the nail on the head at the end there. McCall said that while he was gutted we got relegated he feels that playing our first year in this league is a better basis rather than trying to establish ourselves in the Championship. Can't fault his thought process, just hope it pays off and we beat you lot to the title. All in the name of friendly competition of course.
  8. While this may be true for Airdrie, McCall has said that his squad will be 18 professional players and 6 or 7 youngsters that will be in and around the first team. Airdrie used the model of a youth team with a small group of senior players and while it got them into the play offs they didn't win the league. Should make for an interesting title race though.
  9. Big signing there for you guys. Quite impressed Skelton pulled it off
  10. I know it seems ridiculous, plus I don't know if I could wait that long for season 7. Surely places like Iceland are pretty much the same all year round and I presume that they won't need to film in Croatia this time since Dany has left Mereen. There CGI budget actually affected them this year especially in ep 9 with Wun Wun and the wildfire explosion in ep 10. I think that's why there was such a lack of action in the other 8 episodes because they were saving the major CGI effects until they really needed them.
  11. It's rumoured that season 7 won't be out until next winter, because the D&D say the locations have to look more wintery since winter has finally come. Hope it's all bullshit really
  12. Watching it right now on Sky Go. Forgot how fucking good it was.
  13. Will she not be his aunt. I know her family have a history of incest but don't think she'll be up for that. Plus she'll want to marry someone that will help her take the iron throne with the right family name. There's no obvious contender there.
  14. TBH I don't think Jon gives two fucks about ruling Westeros. He might still meet Dany tho
  15. I think Wun Wun was the only giant left in the wildlings army.
  16. Is no one gonna mention the fact that the Greyjoys have clearly been using Littlefingers teleport device. Shit they get around fast.
  17. Was it definitely a Lannister soldier that told Jaimie he was dead. If not it's possible Blackfish still had some people loyal to him and allowed him to escape.
  18. Still a better love story than Twilight
  19. The majority of the Hibs fans invaded that pitch to celebrate much like I did with the rest of the Ayr fans when we beat Stranraer on penalties last week. Unfortunately there are a few fans who ran on there (much like at Somerset last week) to pick a fight. No need for that, why could they not be content celebrating a massive achievement. The flip side is those Rangers fans ran on looking for a fight and would have done so regardless of whether or not Hibs fans approached the Rangers end. I have yet to see a video of Rangers players being attacked. Not denying it happened just not seen it. I had heard that Lee Wallace took a few punches as well as Davie Weir. Not needed.
  20. IMO there is nothing wrong with invading the pitch especially after a massive cup win. Provided that, A The opposition fans don't wade onto the pitch as well looking for violence B You don't attack the players or the coaching staff. There doesn't appear to be any evidence of Rangers players or coaches attacked, only rumours. As long as the fans are happily celebrating with there players and having a great time there shouldn't be any cause for concern. Football is for the fans to celebrate their teams triumphs and I know how relieved and joyous Hibs fans will be after getting that particular monkey off their back. P.S the fact that Rangers refused to collect their medals after the match citing safety issues is a sheer embarrassment and shows them to be the sore losers that they are. That is all. Congratulations Hibees !! I look forward to visiting you lot next season.
  21. I've got a theory (well two actually): 1) Jon Snow isn't dead. The scene of him being stabbed hasn't happened yet and is fact a vision seen by Bran. His plot line may be to try and warn him before it happens. or 2) Jon is dead but his body is recovered by Davos and is brought back to life by Melisandre.
