I don't claim to know the details of ongoing fraud inquiries etc so unless that throws up something huge in terms of the transfer of assets etc I would imagine today means next to f**k all in terms of what happens next. Still missing the point. Not arguing Scotland's performances in Europe are poor. What I am trying to say that modern football is reflected in the fact that a team that has had several failed attempts in a footballing sense to prove themselves at the top level would then claim that 'they should play at the elite level' purely on the basis of the fact they have a lot of fans is a very sad indictment of the 'sport' we all follow.

I wasn't trying to defend our european form, to put it into context you don't hear the management at aberdeen claiming we have a god given right to compete at a certain level of football despite blatantly failing to reach that level in a football sense.
