  1. Was less a dig about the talent in the lower leagues and more a joke in reference to our next signings seemingly being from down south and the open day being on Saturday so I doubt it would be a secret for long even if we tried to announce someone that day who nobody's heard of. Lower leagues in England is probably similar to the old juniors here where players stick to a safety zone and don't take many risks. Most youth players we released went to Ayrshire clubs for various reasons rather than an Albion Rovers or Dumbarton type.
  2. Kids are going to be so confused when a guy from the 6th tier of English football jumps out of cake at the open day on Saturday.
  3. Those highlights would suggest he's right footed but more effective at LW where he can cut in which seems identical to Murphy rather than a out and out RW.
  4. Murray 60 Wimbledon wins is the same as the combined total for World No.2-12 and of that only one is in double figures. Certainly plenty seeds that he'd back himself to beat but you'd feel 1st set is crucial. Also noticed Novak's 86 Wimbledon wins is more than the rest of the current top 20, who have 85 combined.
  5. Downside of grass court season is BBC still going with at least one of Inverdale, Lloyd or Castle on commentary. Not realised it's on Prime too so I'll give that a try.
  6. Yeah checked that after noticing him and his mum followed QP on Twitter (and she's following Beuker too). Watched him for Scotland U19's at Somerset last season and he looked good, although opposition weren't great.
  7. Has Barry Hepburn signed or been linked with yourselves? Seemingly was signing a new deal at Bayern and going out on loan this season.
  8. Thought a couple of weeks ago he might be a target as he started following the club's Twitter. Although his is private so difficult to tell who else he followed but no other Championship clubs, I checked that much.
  9. Suppose it depends if our only recruitment focus is players with parents on Twitter. Hopefully a CM is next.
  10. Simply wishful thinking on here if people that don't rate him on here now believe he's good enough for a step up. Only chance Bullen ends up back at Sheffield Wednesday would be as No.2 to Carvalhal.
  11. In fairness it will be over £10 as the SPFL, in their infinite wisdom, set minimum but not maximum prices. Last season minimum for group stage was £12 which we charged.
  12. Notice Murray and Norrie are playing doubles at Queen's together which is hopefully a positive sign of how he's feeling physically. His unlucky draws does extend to doubles too though.
  13. Not sure that's true as the club have reduced match day prices for a few matches over the years with no real increase in attendance. Same way that handing out free tickets to schools doesn't guarantee any of them will return for the next match that they need to pay. Agree prices are too high but it's a false idea that halving the price would double the crowd.
  14. You have to take into account that Murphy has performed at a higher level consistently than Mullin has and won't be signing a 3 year deal. Not a great comparison but Messi's 35. You surely wouldn't turn him down for 3 years of Josh Mullin.
  15. Both have, other one was on the 6th which was the reason I mentioned his name. Mum's the word though.
  16. I suspect he is but that's based on my usual methods and not ITK at all.
  17. Increased chance you may need to say thank you whether you want to or not...
  18. If it's Dąbrowski you mean they announced him on Thursday. Twitter post today is probably as Raith are back training.
  19. Likely a couple of signings will be loans too but clubs are never in a rush with them. Doohan and Kelly signed two days before the league cup started so a random midfielder from someone like Celtic will probably appear on 13th July.
  20. Probably only able to sign a pre contract until the window officially opens on Wednesday. Imagine that may be the date that international clearance starts to be processed from and then players cross border can join anytime.
  21. Same one he uploaded to YouTube in March. Wouldn't be surprised if he's reluctant to stay as he's only played 1 full game (Cove in the cup) since Bullen arrived. Even when he starts he's usually the first one subbed.
  22. Sorry was it not obvious enough? I live closer to Dam Park than Somerset so would have to decline anyway.
  23. If it's Dam Park hopefully the club run buses from the hub to make up for the inconvenience.
