Sad to see Stranraer relegated. I always enjoy an away day down there. I thought you would have done well “this” season. On paper you had a good squad and I thought you’d be nowhere near the relegation places
Can’t say the prospect of watching a stream of a Championship game being played behind closed doors appeals much to me. I’d pay £5 max to watch it live. The Bundesliga games were a hard watch (& that’s with top players!)
I would go back to normal tomorrow. That doesn’t mean I’d happily kill the elderly by spreading it to them. Aside from my Mum, I’m never around any elderly people anyway
The coach tour part of David Urquhart Travel already went a couple of weeks ago.
Sad news. I’m sure it will put a lot of the hotels out of business that Urqhart/Shearings used
I thought phase 3 was likely to be around 16th July
Really? My ex would always use them even if there was nobody at the till. By the time she faffed around at the machine, I’d placed my order and was already waiting for it before she’d even paid for hers
Somerset is a traditional ground, some would say a shithole but I say it’s full of charm. Ayr itself was home to the big shagger Rabbie Burns, and there’s few pubs in his honour. If it’s a sunny day go to Renaldos shop, best vanilla ice cream around
She’s always maintained as long as she’s fit and able to walk around a supermarket, she’d rather go in person to “check the quality” of what she’s buying, or what new products they have. I guess she’s as “entitled” as me
My mum doesn’t have a smart phone, or any phone other than a landline. She also doesn’t drive. Asda is the supermarket she goes to. I always wondered what would happen if these measures were still in place come Autumn/winter when the weather can be atrocious. I know quite a few elderly people around my neighbourhood who get the bus to Asda and then back home. I doubt all (or even any) of them have a smart phone.
I never liked the texture of meat, bone, fat, gristle etc. As for protecting human life’s, of course I don’t want folk to die. I just feel if a vaccine isn’t found, we can’t live with restrictions forever.
I’d rather stand 2 metres from them and still be able to chat, rather than watching games behind closed doors. The German games at the weekend were a brutal watch
