  1. Hopefully Beck makes an appearance for Liverpool tonight so the only loan option at the end of window is Dundee again. A guy can dream!
  2. Jags spent all their energy around the 80 minute mark chasing a goal, looking knackered now and getting turned over.
  3. Trying to think of which result produces maximum banter. Probably a late VAR penalty to Rangers for a 1-0 Sevco win.
  4. This is such a friendly derby that both sides are passing to the opposition.
  5. Don't think either set of fans will be too happy with that, Dundee got beat 3-0 at home and Mikey Johnston bought himself another few weeks in a Celtic jersey.
  6. Would any Aberdeen fans be interested in a fight to pass the time instead?
  7. Two pretty average teams, but one of those teams has Owen Beck.
  8. Celtic winning in the CL in-between losing back to back games in the league is truly a sign of the End of Days.
  9. Their argument seems to be that minor rule breaking is ok and that refs "haven't played the game". It was a clear shirt pull as the Rangers player jumped for the ball which is against the rules of the game. It's a penalty.
  10. Had a decent start to the season but seems to have been dragged down to Morton's level as it progressed. They also seem to be playing him at CB instead of RB.
  11. How's he getting on up there? His form dropped a bit towards the end of last season but he generally looked like a decent player for Championship level.
  12. Catching the highlights on Sportscene now. First goal is a bad spill from Carson but no one covered themselves in glory there. Balogun picks the ball up on the edge of the Rangers box and starts dribbling forward expecting a tackle, which never comes. You could drive a bus through the gap Dundee left in the middle of the park and he slips it through for Danilo with Lamie getting no where near him but doing enough to play him onside. Shocking. Second goal Donnelly gets far too tight to Jack and gets rolled. No one picks up Sima and he has he easiest pass in the world to set Danilo up. Again, a Dundee CB too slow to react to what's happening and plays a Rangers attacker onside. Third goal is a banger. It happens. Fourth. Well, what can you do when the fucking ref blocks a player off. McCowan should probably have whinged less and tried to stop the counter but it's just a shit show. Fifth. Cameron gets a bit unlucky, ball comes off his leg and he stamps on Taverniers foot while trying to retrieve it. Probably was a pen.
  13. I believe Lamie occasionally played RB for Motherwell? Maybe something like this:
  14. Time for the weekly edition of "Who the f**k is playing Right Back for Dundee?"
  15. Robinson has apparently been carrying an Achilles injury so that's hopefully the reason his performances aren't up to the standard of last season, when he gets back to fitness he should hopefully chip in with more goals. Rudden is a workhorse but lacks the composure (and lets be honest, talent) to be a decent striker at Premiership level. I don't know if Pineda is the answer, but I do know that Rudden and an unfit Robinson are not, so it's worth a shot.
  16. Was surprised to hear about this move. Was great last season before his injury and looked like he could have slotted in to the Premiership no problem. Hopefully this move is just to get him a run of games to get him fit again and not because he's gubbed now and can't compete at a higher level.
  17. Both sides poor with a moment of brilliance from Kyogo being the difference maker. Europe is gonna be a bloodbath for the two of them.
  18. Firmly in control for 80 minutes with Saints looking dreadful. At 2-0 up and dominating you can afford to bring on some reserve players and give them minutes (like Docherty did with Rudden and Reilly) but as soon as St Johnstone scored the plan should have changed. Those changes made Dundee far worse at the same time Saints got a morale boost, thats on Tony Docherty. Although regardless of the score, bringing Rudden on is never the answer.
  19. Aye, Dundee's average attendances were inflated by the enormous travelling supports of Greenock Morton and Cove Rangers. You're also overlooking the fact that Falkirk and Dunfermline had the highly attended derbies with each other to boost their average crowd, as evidenced by the fact Falkirk's average crowds jumped from 2000 to 3000 when Dunfermline joined the league. Thanks for showing Dundee did indeed have the highest attendances outside the Premiership though, now f**k off.
  20. PAOK coping with the Tynecastle atmosphere so far, was worried about them.
