  1. Dundee seem to be the only team that can beat Falkirk in cups this year.
  2. Nope. Only on at this time as Ochilview Park is unavailable at the weekend.
  3. I think Bowyer is still trying to find his best formation and starting 11, I'm not entirely sure what it is but I'm sure it's not what we just saw. Dreadful. Robinson on his own is completely isolated, especially when the midfield is pressed and forced back. Either play another forward alongside him or find a way for the midfield to actually affect the attack. At the moment there is no creativity. Did we really get Maguire from Motherwell? Because he looks absolutely unprepared for the pace of the Scottish game, far too slow on the ball. Hannant anonymous again. And the main problem, another two goals from set pieces. Dundee just completely switch off and are a disorganised mess when balls are whipped in and there's the slightest movement from the opposition, this needs addressed.
  4. Jukubiak on 5 seconds and a forces a good save. Fucking start him Bowyer!
  5. The handbags after Cammy was kicked has got Dundee fired up, been much better,
  6. Both my ears and my eyes are bleeding after that. I'm worried Morton just wrote the blueprint on how to play against Dundee, press then in midfield, force them to go long, isolate the forward. We're seeing it again here.
  7. Every time a Dundee player gets the ball there's about three players closing him down. Every time a Thistle players gets the ball he has the freedom of Dens. Shocking.
  8. Cheers for the heads up. Will get some beers in and watch from Weegieland.
  9. Was closer than I thought it would be but Celtic still much the better team.
  10. Thank f**k, last 30 minutes will be entertaining now.
  11. Rangers too ponderous in the final third, Celtic's cutting edge is so far ahead of them.
  12. I don't think I've ever seen a game with such terrible decision making in the final third.
  13. If the goal was levitating 20 feet off the ground Easton would be on a hattrick.
  14. Morton got their goal then completely stifled Dundee. Pressed them all over midfield and dealt with all of Dundee's punts in to the box comfortably, an absolute nightmare to play against. Bowyer is going to have to think of a plan B when the team is clearly being outfought.
  15. Kudos to the Morton players, working their arses off to make sure Dundee get zero time on the ball.
  16. And yet no team has conceded less goals, just shows the standard of the Championship.
  17. Maguire, game is far too fast for him. All I recall him doing his trying to dribble at about 2 Mph and giving the ball away.
  18. Much better for the last 10 minutes or so, first 20 minutes was all Morton. Kerr winning all his battles with Quitongo and Mulligan looking dangerous.
  19. Dundee just can't cope with this this aggression from Morton, getting crowded out and pressed all over the midfield. Need to start moving the ball quicker and not inviting a challenge.
  20. The Jags looked like they were going to run away with the league early on the season, what a shit show the last few months have been.
  21. Quick! Say something negative about Robinson again Shadow. That worked a treat.
  22. Watching the second half again (I must be mad). First 20 minutes are much closer than the one way traffic of the first half but Dundee are still shading it in terms of possession and chances. Maybe missing Jakubiak's pace and power up front but things are still looking good. Subs are made and the next 10 minutes are fairly uneventful. Then the goal happens. I've seen Sweeney do this a few times both when Dundee are attacking and defending corners, he moves towards the ball, realises he has come too short and has to backtrack to try and meet it's flight. As a result he is on the backfoot and can't get much height in his jump and loses the header. The next is a bit of bad luck, Sheridan tries to clear but doesn't make much contact (was at full stretch, difficult clearance to make) and it falls to a Raith player with a free header. A third Raith player gets to the ball first and it's 2-1. If anyone's responsible for me, its Sweeney. After losing the initial header the ball is in the 6 yard box and it's chaos after that. Second goal. Anticipating a long throw Dundee just flood their box, this means there's no one to press the midfield when Raith play it short. Sheridan is in no man's land and McCowan is too slow to realise it's up to him to stop the ball in to the box. The ball is floated in under minimum pressure and Stanton loses Kerr to head it in. Far too passive from Dundee, giving player's that much time and space is asking for trouble. The rest is history. A few other points: Robinson is clearly lacking sharpness having been recalled by Wimbledon to warm their bench for a few weeks. Tolaj struggled with the aggression of the match, Scottish football is going to be a reality check for him. Thomas is a handful, Raith looked more comfortable defensively when he went off.
