  1. I'm not at the game, but someone on Twitter saying Vaughan was just turning with the ball. No contact.
  2. He's the absolute linchpin at Number 10. We don't have a like-for-like replacement, let alone one with anything like the same level of ability. His goals (and possibly assists) per minute over the last few years must be up there with anyone's. But above all, it's an absolute sin for the lad, if it is indeed the serious recurrence that it would appear to be. Just utterly devastating.
  3. Champions League goalscorer Gregory Tade, or *checks notes* failed Ross County Reserve player Daniel Armstrong. I really like Dan Armstrong, he was excellent for us, but let's not be silly now.
  4. Big Steven Anderson looks like a footballer from a bygone era. I adore him already.
  5. Unless I've just failed to notice it in previous games, we've switched to a very rigid zonal marking approach for corners today. Looking forward to it improving our defending significantly, and then being blamed by everyone when we do still inevitably concede from a set piece.
  6. Excellent. No idea if he'll be any good, but it's nice to see that John McGlynn, while publicly claiming the defence is fine (as you'd expect), hasn't actually gone doolally.
  7. If you'd told me John Herron was now playing for Glenrothes, I'd have believed you.
  8. He went up for a header with Grant Anderson, amongst others, and didn't get back up. Looked more like an awkward landing than a head knock. Wouldn't be surprised if it was something like a broken arm, but impossible to tell from where I was.
  9. But Dave McKay is coming on... Miller into the middle. We're using a centre half at right back again. I'm going to go into apoplexy.
  10. We need a real substantial change for away games. Go to a back three and shore it up for the next quarter of the season. We're so fragile. We've been so far off it since the equaliser. There's no belief in this team. Change the target, play for draws on the road, and get the mindset sorted.
  11. I don't like the thought of Mendy against Wallace, but right at the end of the half, Benedictus was dragged away from the ref by Hendry. One of a few Rovers players who needs to screw the heid when we're not getting decisions, especially when he's on a booking. It was a ludicrous situation, though. Spencer was waiting to take a freekick, and put his foot on the ball. An East Fife player then raced away with it, because it had been "taken", and the ref waved play on. Bene actually recovered the situation well, winning the one-on-one.
  12. East Fife hit the bar from six yards. Wallace looked offside to me, but it's another situation our defence completely failed to deal with. Since the goal, the game was moved 40 yards. The wind has died down a little, but that's got nothing to do with it.
  13. We can't get far enough up the park to get decent crosses in at the moment. A speculative long ball just caught him out though, just a shame Allan had to go so far wide to go round him, no chance of a finish. Crosses causing bother in our box, mind. It'll come as a surprise to no-one that Bene looks out of sorts.
  14. Odd break of the ball in midfield and Wallace was played in behind a crooked back line. A tackle did go in to stop him, but he was up quicker to square it for a tap-in. Really the first chance the Fife have had, but they're against the wind this half. Rovers responded immediately with a well worked move and goal, but it was flagged offside. No idea if it was accurate or not, but the attack was encouraging.
  15. This competition really is a shambles. Will this be the lowest attended Rovers "first team" game in a good while, or is there some other contender I'm forgetting?
  16. Ross Munro is on a development loan from Ross County to Raith Rovers. For tonight's match, is he eligible to play for both teams, just one, or neither?
