And so it would appear that Iain Davidson walked free from court, cleared of the charge(s) against him. Good news, for sure. It's clear that he's not exactly behaved in an angelic manner. Basically, a bloke has started on him, and he's punched him, once, in the face. You get the feeling that if he wasn't who he was (not that he's a "celebrity"), nobody would've ever thought twice about it, particularly the bloke who got skelped.

It seems that the court case was today, and was fairly brief. Any chance you could give a quick summary of what happened?

I've got the almighty Parcelforce! It was just the two of us doing our presentation, and we had more or less the same stuff so he read the first half and I did the second, then I had to field all the complex and ridiculous questions. I agree on that woman, by the way. Her second lecture is the only thing I've missed this semester, because she was useless, and a complete w****r.

I couldn't tell you how long the train takes to get back to KDY, but I'm driving back tomorrow afternoon/evening if you want a lift. I won't be going straight to the game from Stirling, but it's no problem to drop you at yours on the way back. If you're finishing at 4, I could pick you up outside AKD at half past.

Happy belated birthday. On a Stirling bus related note... I was on a 62 this morning, the bus that goes through the Uni and then on to Alloa. There was a pair of American wifies trying to get to the Wallace Monument, and they came so close to getting off at the Wallace High School. One of them was genuinely annoyed that it wasn't sign posted better, as if the massive black "HIGH SCHOOL" on top of the building wasn't enough. Unfortunately, the driver stopped them from getting off, and subjected us to various utterances of "Good grief!" as we entered the campus.

Can I add... using the self scan for stuff that doesn't have a barcode. Bananas!? f**k off! Stop trying to scan them. They're in a plastic bag! Take them elsewhere, moron, for I am trying to buy stuff that has little black lines on it, and will go through quickly!

Why are there so many Chinese people at Stirling? Is it the same for all the other universities? Is it because they have some sort of cheap deal going on, or are there just so many Chinese folk they end up with thousands of them everywhere?
